Yea Raiden sucked

I hated having to run around as Raiden naked for about 30 mins answering all colenols calls.... And what was with the flying ninjas of death!?!

it was an endurence test as far as i see it. if you can get past that bit, and not throw your ps2 through the window, you must be a buddhist monk.

Good god..lemme clear this up, SOLIDIOUS is dead...Raiden killed him, LIQUID is dead, Snake killed him. This guy you play is not big boss...His name is Jack, but oddly enough he looks just like Snake, why? Because of the project Le en-faunt terribles, The terrible children...This was the plan to take Big boss' DNA and make multiple soldiers for combat...Jack just so happens to be one of those projects that turned out right, just like Liquid and Snake...along with Solidious...The reason why I like this one so much is because of the knife tactics (YES!) and face paint + camoflague....If you want to argue with me about how it is laid out...You can yell at my GamePro

Um ruckus, snake killed liquid and raiden killed solidius like 40 years after this games setting...

Liquid lives in his arm (yes, it IS very far out), that Ocelot has.

I hope to God this is in the present....

i hope to god we havent killed each other over what it will be about/like before it comes out.....

Personally, I couldn't care less if Liquid or Solidious are still alive, what I'm pointing out is who you play is NOT Big boss...He is from Big boss' DNA and one of the FoxDie programs, I assure you..Gamepro doesn't lie....As far as Raiden goes, I hated the whole story line more than Raiden, the only nice thing was you got the blade...WEEE...shame you only have about 5 -10 minutes to use it...Meh. The thing I really hated about him, was his cheap diving technique...I preferred Snake's roll any day.

OK then for this bit i am assuming people have a copy of the e3 2004 demo available to view if not
A) buy a magazine with the demo attached as a DVD
B) if not you can download it fromhere at a massive 45MB its not for dial up!

Anyway in this demo you see TWO snakes OK!
The first snake is NOT wearing a bandana and is found with solokov, the young ocelot and the guards with the white bit on their faces.
The second snake IS wearing a bandana and is found with the Colonel, the flamethrowers troops, the hoverjets, the helicopters and the guards wearing black balaclavas like in MGS2.

The snake WITHOUT a bandana is BIG BOSS as that section is set in 1964
The snake WITH a bandana is SOLID SNAKE and set AFTER 1964 but probably before the time of MGS and MGS2 judging by the missile launcher he uses to take down the second helicopter (its not a stinger)...although you probably would be hard pushed to find and missile launcher in the jungle....
The only character I cannot work out is the one at the very end with the Colonel...Raiden possibly?

Anyway if people are looking for a challenge in MGS2 here's one beat all the dam METAL GEAR RAY'S without using any of the special equipment on either the European extreme setting or for the us the extreme setting...have fun!

And there is no Colonel! The Colonel was a computer program remember?
