- Strength Effect (per point): Normal attack DP + 2

I meant to say 7...
Anyway, I think the members that go on a blind rage, then DON'T APOLOGIZE (and mean it) should be suspended. The ones who apologize should get a shorter sentence. ( Yes, I know that means I should get suspended, but hey, that's the rules, right?)
(And listen to you guys! Arguing in a topic meant to stop argueing! Come on! Just stop. This is so childish! It's Cspaces decison, and I guess it's okay to debate whether the member should have been perma banned, but it's not worth argueing over. Wish I knew how to spell argueing...)
Who's arguing? Billy and I are sharing opinions

You do realize why it was two days right? Because I couldn't create a 30-page constitution for the clan to include every single thing that could possibly happen, including specific topics, specific manners, specific lengths, and specific repetition. The previous rule system which resulted in the two day suspensions (which you pressured me to create, mind you) resulted in them due to how things must be categorized. It was two days for the first offence of "harassment" or "provocation". Everyone who had two days did something that could fall into that category. While due to what Style did he was suspended practically forever (900 days). With set rules and no judgement members are let off easily if their actions fall into the right category, and they can be extremely harsh if someone does something slightly wrong that falls into the wrong category. That is why we got rid of that and re-introduced judgement.
Please don't use the two days as an arguing point because that is a specific reason that we got rid of that system.

Uh, moving on...
I'd say around an 8 would be good. I'm all for a relaxed environment, forgiveness, etc, but currently we're not strict enough.

Trust me, we're not uptight. When you want uptight, go to a French forum.
No, really...
If you knew how many fights there are, then you'd understand. And I don't mean these huge ones, I mean the ones where people take little jabs, but don't fully express their anger. Then everyone's worried about a fight breaking out.
So we really need to tighten security.
And get that pipe fixed in insanity. I thought I told someone to fix that!

That could not be more true, thank you Ryoko. I just wish everyone else would understand that, we're fighting for a more open community as you probably know but some just don't realize what will happen if we crack down on everything... They had a taste of it before but a few still do not see it.

I don't see why some want things to be so limited...
Last I knew these fights were over two months ago and we are a "normal community" again? The last thing anything happened it was because of the strict rules and members feeling censored. Unless we begin handling the place as a "normal community" we will never become one again. Other forums have dramas and personal situations all the time (it's human) but no one considers them full of fights, while one little thing happens here and the entire clan is in an uproar because they start claiming that we're full of conflicts...
If we don't come to a realization of reality we will never be considered "normal", sorry to say but it is unfortunately true. It's our only roadblock left, it is really a small one that can easily be passed, but some are treating it as a brick wall that cannot be passed without absolute cooperation.

Basically because I feel as if every fight can cause a huge war between members... Or maybe I don't feel that way...

WHY DO YOU TORTURE ME CSPACE?!
...
Anyway. Maybe being uptight makes you think you're not uptight. I guess we're not aware of ourselves.
Gotta work on that.

I'm just saying that everyone is not the same, therefore everyone is not perfectly "compatible". If anyone in this world is friends with everyone at their school, I will personally send them a check for a million dollars (well, maybe I'll reconsider in the case that there's a freak somewhere

Let's just hope NASA can develop the technology in 10 years or the human race will be extinct in less than a century when the incompetent youths grow up.

Anyway...

Yeah, it is virtually impossible to eliminate every situation. If we could do it we would be a definite first on the entire internet. We can, however, treat them properly and place them where they belong. That is really all it takes and we will be set.

Oh, wait... You work for NASA. Nevermind.
You can't really make an example out of me from that. Lol, we have some sort of weird misunderstanding happening all the time. I say something about your post and you apologize, and then I tell you I wasn't insulted and then I start ranting...
Could you use a boot as an example for this?
And I'm not going to Saturn! You know how much property taxes would cost there!? They'd be sky high! 'Cept there is not sky...

What in the world are you saying??? Of course I am!

And if I could get a trip to Saturn for being incompetent, sure, I'll wear that on my sleeve!

Lol, yeah... That's been happening a lot for some reason, no clue why but I guess it is.

Of course! You could use a boot as an example for anything! If SeeD can be compared to a boot, anything can be compared to a boot.

Let's see here...
If we treat the current members as people living inside a boot, and new members as wanderers looking at how muddy it is... Ok, I'll stop.

It's all sky there, property is cheap in most places but forget any insurance. Living in 1000 m.p.h. winds constantly does unfortunately have some disadvantages.

From my observations, the more 'up-tight' we are over this, the more people will get into fights over the smallest little things. If people are a bit more relaxed, they're more likely to give others a chance, most conflicts are just misunderstandings anyway.
