(Ie. Goto got whopped on the head by an oversized grand piano and died, and bigrat told me, I would believe that (Well, I wouldn't exactly believe BIGRAT, but two close friends in real life)).

... I'm not even going to contemplate where that example came from. eek7.gif

As for if their relative died, I'd probably be more sorry for the friend who has to go through that grief than the unknown person that actually died. I have trouble attaching pity and sadness to somebody I've never met or heard of, beyond a little light sympathetic sadness towards them.

I wouldn't really care, unless the news came from a legit source (Ie. Goto got whopped on the head by an oversized grand piano and died, and bigrat told me, I would believe that (Well, I wouldn't exactly believe BIGRAT, but two close friends in real life)).

If their 'parent' came on and posted, I wouldn't believe them, because people can get hacked, and I have experiences of people in this clan making things up to gain sympathy.

^
Please remember not to say that at the eulogy bluetongue.gif

Well I wouldn't exactly mourn though I would always remember that person & the good times we had. I'd also post my prayers and have a minute of silence/remembrance on the forums.

Though I really don't want this experience to happen, as a death takes it's toll and inflicts everyone with misery and sadness, its a horrible experience and never want to experience it again.

Depends....If I knew them as a "Good person" Then I'd mourn them deeply...If I knew them as something else, I might just say, "Pity..." And move on.

Depends on the type of death. If it was accidental, of course do everything I could. If they commited suicide I would offer my condolences to everyone around him/her and not worry to much about the person who did it, since they are too immature to take actions against a situation.

^^ What he said.

I'm not in the mood of people committing suicide, or in this situation, pretending to commit suicide. It causes people a lot of heartache when people commit suicide, but when they have just pretended to, I would lose all respect for them, and probably go on a flaming spree....
