1.) I'm sure he had a good reason to get rid of it. Personal or not.
2.) For whatever reason, you didn't need to openly laugh at him on the boards, you could have just laughed as much as you wanted at your house, where he can't hear you, behind his back so a conflict doesn't start.

Actually, I think it may have been a good thing that it was edited out, I'm not sure. I don't wish for the situation to spread around if it doesn't have to when it is in the process of demolishing itself.

Neither Ferret nor SS did anything wrong, everything is fine.
