That's right, this time it's not a smilie update

This is the first of probably another series of updates, updates to the code which can be used to format your text.

This code can be referenced in the "BB Code Help" link under the smilie box when you make a post. For now they will not be listed in the list of buttons, but this could change eventually. All code which is used should be visible on all browsers (of recent versions) including Firefox, Netscape, or whatever else you may use instead of Explorer. Of course they work in Explorer too.

So the following can be used anywhere now.

You must use lower case for these new tags for now, capitalizing your tags will cause them not to work as of this moment (except for all the normal ones like Bold, that is).


Creates a link to a previous post (this was available before but not widely known).











Easy way to create a link to another topic (this was available before but not widely known).

Superscripted text like E=MC²


Crossed-out text like this

Ok, it seems that the wave can only be used once per page due to the nature of the script.

The text would always reflect the first instance of the script

Ok, proved it in the Insanity Board.

Once per page, otherwise it would just reflect the previous instance of the wave script.

Remove the CODE tags

Ok, all of the above should work however many times they're placed in a thread except the wave tag. The wave tag can only be used once per page unfortunately, otherwise it reflects the previous instance.

I just wont use wave

Nope, replace "TextSpeedNumber" with the speed of your marquee

Now you can format your posts ("books") to have them scroll so they don't take up 500 pages (Cspace)
