That's right folks, today marks the end of my first year in SeeD! Yup, one year ago today I stumbled upon these forums, signed up and made some lameass intro post
I figured I might do a recap of my time in SeeD so far! (Be warned: This could be long)
Feb 2, 2004: I was looking for something about Final Fantasy when I stumbled across the SeeD homepage. I thought to myself "I like FF! I play RS! I'm gonna join! "
I was level 30 combat with a skill total of about 200.
I was placed in the 'Steel Dragon Army' Garden and that's where I made my first friend in SeeD; False Gods.
For the first few months I kind of laid low, just watching the forums, not posting often. Getting to know people, really. There were a couple of people I talked to on occasion in RS. (mainly Bigbro, Goto & Traver)
It wasn't until May that things really started happening. I'd just become a member. There were the 'Spring SeeD Awards', where I won the award for Most Improved SeeD. (I had improved to 75 combat with about 800 skill total.) and early on in May, I met Lisa. Which had a huge impact on me over the following months. I don't wanna go into all the mushy details so I'll leave it at that
I think May was also the month where I first posted in the Last One to Post Wins topic
June 6th - The Wedding of Final F8 and Glammeress - This was, and I believe still is, the biggest event in SeeD history. What a day! I've never seen so many SeeDs in one place!
Later in June I was very pleased to become a moderator for General Discussion .
Things were great then, everything was awesome! My birthday was coming up and I got a bunch of great gifts (Thanks again everyone!!! ) But it was also about that time that Glammeress was having some horrible things happen in her life... it was sometime in August or September (I think) when she stopped coming online anymore. She has more important things to concentrate on. (I haven't heard from her in ages, I hope she's doing well...)
Hmmm... August and September... and October... that's kind of a blur to me, I don't remember what happened with me in RS and SeeD. I remember that was when I having some 'personal' issues with depression and all that crap... it's probably better I don't remember that
November 1st: I started my job at the newspaper. I was having some troubles balancing my work, social life and SeeD/Runescape, so I took a break from SeeD, Runescape and the Internet. I returned mid December, once I'd sorted my schedule out.
Just after Christmas I got mah Phat! lol
and uhhh... yeah, not alot happened in January

I probably missed out alot of important stuff, I tend to do that sometimes (oh well, it's long enough as it is )

It's been a great year here! Thanks to all you SeeDs for making it such a good one. I hope the next year can be just as good!

Congrats! its good to have you around (but it's still weirding me out, i was shure you'd been here longet than me, but it's the other way around )

Congrats, it's been great having you here over the last year, and I wish you many more. You're a good friend to a lot of people here, you should have seen how upset people got when you went away for a while.

Congo Rats! It's been quite an eventful year, and I enjoyed every minute of it, to be honest. You've been such a great motivator, Runescapist, LOTPW Winner, and especially friend. I sure hope we get quite a few more good anniverseries from you.
