I don't know about you but I am sick of all these new guys that join for a week then quit. Therefore I recommend a forum where people have been around ofr more than a year may enjoy a nice convo without any noob shouting and spamming in it.

Well, thats not a bad idea, but some new members really arn't 'noobs' (tekkblade, nuu, and many others). Excluding them just because they wern't here long wouldn't be nice, and neither would sorting out the noobs from the not-noobs.

You wern't even here for a year, so that would be a forum wouldn't be for you yet bluetongue.gif
Plus, whats so bad about them? Sure, they are kind of annoying, but they all change.

The biggets problem is the apparent prejudice in it. How would you feel if you had just joined this forum, with good intentions, yet were locked out of most regular discussions?

I've seen it in other places, but I don't think it really suits our atmosphere. We try to be welcoming to new members, I think that'd be sending the wrong message. And if anything particularly 'serious' needs to be discussed, there is always mod disc.

New members need time to adjust to SeeD, and if they're shunned from the community it'll just take that much longer to adjust. indiff.gif

One year, to be exact. bluetongue.gif Yeah, I vote no. We need to be welcomming to noobs, so that none of them leave here as soon as they come. Eliminate the problem at the source.
