Moon Discovered Around 10th "Planet" But that's not all....... =/

They found a moon around the '10th planet' in our solar system, which is pretty cool. The most disturbing thing about this discovery, though, is that I just realized that they named the planet 'Xena' after 'Xena: Warrior Princess'... And even worse is that they apparently named the moon after Xena's sidekick.

FINALLY THERE IS A PLANETARY SYSTEM WITH NAMES WORSE THAN PLANET 'EARTH' AND ITS MOON CALLED 'MOON'!

This is my best astronomy announcement ever.

One more step toward Jupiter...

Honestly these people crack me up!

Lucy Lawless has gotta feel special for having a planet named after her character she played... Xena's gonna be put down in history forever.

Glad they finally are officeally saying there is a 10th planet. Of course, people were saying that about a year ago, too.

And a new moon! w00t!

We should demand a better name. Hell, "Homestar" would be better...

hmmm... I thought there were nine planets. wasn't it just that they said there could be another planet? okay...so they discoverd the moon around the 10th planet that they discoverd some ohter time...or did they just confirm that not only is there a 10th planet but that it has a moon. I am way behind on that stuff lol....

but these names. I xena and gabriel or whatever...I think they actualy sound like names of typical planetary bodies....mars, venus, pluto, tabius, europa.....xena, gabriel. seems ta fit. as long as it fits I personaly don't care why they have the names lol.

But the names of the planets are after the Greek or Roman Gods... I always get them mixed up.

Mercury, Venus, Earth (Terra), Mars, Jupiters, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.

I fail to see how Xena is a God.
