, I love playing civ3 because it is so open-ended but for Fable Lost Chapters, I just love the idea of it. In the long run, what do you think will be the best for me?

I don't know which game to get , I love playing civ3 because it is so open-ended but for Fable Lost Chapters, I just love the idea of it. In the long run, what do you think will be the best for me?

I personally haven't played Civ 4, but there is so many good things said about it that I wouldn't pass it up. It received the GameSpy Game of the Year award along with other countless awards

Well I've played both games, and I probably preferred Fable, but it's quite true that Civ IV will keep you going for longer.
If you like Civ III, you'll probably really like Civ IV. Still, they're both good games, so it doesn't matter too much.

They're completely different genres. I'd get Fable: TLC, though. At least it's beatable.

Civ 4 is incredible in the fact that you'll never get bored with it, there are just too many options. Get it. Fable is some stupid story book game about Prince Charming killing the evil witch and saving the princess. Blah.

Fable: The lost Chapters OWNS.
i beat it recently good aligned, and need to play it again evil.
it is not a prince charming beats the witch game, it has a cool storyline.
and the actual gameplay is quite fun on the PC (rumor has that the xbox control scheme made it sorta suck there)
i recomend getting both
get fable now, and save up and get CIV when it gets a little cheeper.
(and fable has another redeeming feature to it, its hard a times, but never so hard that you cant stand it and hve to look for cheats, its totaly beatable, and not STUPID HARD like some games.)

I would say Civilization lV because I have Fable for Xbox and Fable: Lost Chapters for PC. To tell you the truth, theres not much more in the Lost Chapters game, the end is when you fight that guy with the red/white mask, except he is a red dragon!!! The new armor is cool but I would say get Civilization lV...Fable gets old after a while.

I can beat Fable. I can't beat Civilization ANYTHING on the simplest mode ever.
I'm gonna get Fable:TLC on the Box. It is on Xbox, right?

the lost chapters is PC only. normal Fable is xbox.
(the only difrence is there is a extended storyline in lost chapters, about 5 hrs of storyline gameplay longer (well, that extendend storyline can get you some new armor and cool weps, and there is a extra area to expore as well, basicly an expansion)
