I so nonimate myself for "Eternal Newbie"/"Phieta"/"Cspace" and then me for "Worst Lagger Ever"/"Moo"

We have all had our newbish moments in Guild Wars. Whether it's parents complaining, lack of sleep, text messaging, our pets controlling our minds, or people laughing uncontrollably on Skype, these moments usually pass by us when we are more aware of what is going on in game.

Now this is going to be an out of the ordinary nomination. We all know this friend of ours spends a lot of time in game and is a very experienced player. I am also fully aware of creative build ideas that defy the common expected roles behind each profession. However, with that said, with the extensive amount of time spent with this DoA Officer missioning, farming, vanquishing, and dare I say mapping... I have come to realize that I would like to nominate Lynn as Eternal Newbie for the following reasons: (I wish I had the screenshots for these)

Exhibit 1: Gate of Pain
He attempts to pull on his Elementalist (using a staff) while having Obsidian Flesh on. (You can guess how many times he's made it back to the group alive doing that.)

Exhibit 2: All throughout Elona
He attempts to tank on his Elementalist (without Obsidian Flesh and uses Fire Storm to disperse enemies from my Meteor Shower), next to his Koss.

Exhibit 3: Everywhere
Have you seen him pull on Shizune? *shudder* If I didn't know any better, I could swear he's using Splinter Weapon with Barrage wielding a shortbow.

Exhibit 4: Consulate Docks (Hard Mode)
He attempts to tank on his Ranger against 6 other maxed out Rangers with whirling defense. I'm glad we brought three monks.

Exhibit 5:
I've never seen him tank on his Warrior, not once, not ever.

Exhibit 6:
And last but not least, the token Newbie Female Elementalist move that is commonly witnessed in Pre-searing Ascalon City... /dance, allowing male warriors to gather around and watch his poor little Elementalist dancing half-naked in the middle of town.


Hehe. *hugs Lynnie*

Remember, the elementalist dance is a maintained enchantment though. While active, some males in same town/district or party cannot attack or use any skills and experience 100% reduction in speed.

Made a few updates, and added a few of my own on if I saw people who hadn't got a mention and might deserve one. Once again, if you can think of people that haven't been listed (either at all, or only listed a couple of times) then suggest them. I don't know everyone in the guild really well, so it's hard for me to know what categories they'd fit into. The more diversity in the people involved the better.

I'll give this another day or two before moving onto the next phase, so if you have any more suggestions try to get them in soon.
Also there's a few suggestions that I left off, in some cases people that might be quite well suited for the award. The problem is these people tend to be suited for a lot of the awards, and it's no fun if one person gets half of them. Most of the time I've stuck with what people were nominated for first, unless there was a category that simply jumped out (like Tanny and Creative Builds) that they weren't nominated in until later. So as much of a newbie as Lynn is, you might have to vote for someone else.

Aww, but it would have been funny to see Lynnie as the Eternal Newbie. Umm and Ari would like to be taken off from the best runner category please.

Excuse me, I think I deserve a award due to the fact that everytime i go out of the outpost im in I have to download the place i go to, every time.

I'd like to request the removal of my nomination for nicest guildie on the grounds that i would rather see someone else nominated for this award win, and not take any votes from them :-p

besides, i think based on xariha's arguments that i'm prolly more deserving of eternal newbie O_o

So... where are the polls?

I guess Goto will make them soon.

Sorry about my inactiveness here and in-game, I'm going through a sort of criss that takes up more of my time. Give me a set date for when those userbars are needed and I'll get 'em in.
