Personally, I don't think making things illegal is the best way to approach the problem. I say make anything, regardless of how dumb or inane it is, make anything legal. Obviously, if it could harm others, a problem exists, but otherwise, everything should be legal. If we want to eliminate bad drug behavior, we can either let themselves overdose to death, or do what we can to reduce people's economic demand for the product. Education is the way to go, imo.

Legalise it. If cigarettes and alcohol are legal, marijuana should be too.

Res, what is the name of the pill you are talking about?

Also I would much rather buy weed from a pharmacy rather then some gang/guy next to gas station that gets me low quality {expletive hax0rd by Cspace} or puts something funny in it (which never happens but you never know).

PS: I still think drugs like cocaine and heroin should be illegal becouse they have a lot worse side affects and don't blend in with society too well.

I wouldn't take it, but people should still have the choice to take it. Same with any drug.
And now we have the quote of the day, from greenl2l: PLONGED!!!

S-adenosyl methionine. Otherwise known as SAM-e.

Wikipedia article/Correspondence with the back of the box:

QUOTE
In the United States SAM is sold as a nutritional supplement under the marketing name SAM-e (also spelled SAME or SAMe; pronounced "sam ee"). SAM is also known as Gumbaral, Samyr, Adomet and Admethionine. Some research has shown that taking SAM on a regular basis can help fight depression, liver disease, and the pain of osteoarthritis.

Therapeutic use of SAM has increased as dietary supplements have gained in popularity, especially after the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act was passed in 1999. This law allowed the distribution of SAM as an over-the-counter supplement, and therefore allowed it to bypass the regulatory requirements of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

An emerging line of evidence suggests that abnormally low levels of endogenous SAM may play an important role in the development of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and that SAM may therefore have therapeutic potential in the treatment of AD. Severely low levels of SAM have been found in the cerebrospinal fluid and in all brain regions of AD patients examined. Preliminary research suggests SAM may have therapeutic potential in treating AD patients and a recent study using a mouse model of AD found that supplementary SAM prevented oxidative damage and cognitive impairment. In that study (available online), Tchantchou et al also explain the biomechanics that in addition to the above findings make low SAM a likely causal component of AD pathology.

The only adverse side effect I've experienced is a recurring stomach pain, like that of heartburn, but lower. But the overall mood boost has me in a state where I'm able to overlook it.

If it's ever legalized I'll move to Canada. (Though Canada's probably more likely to do it first.) Why? I don't care to see even more peoples' bad decisions have dire consequences on innocent people.

That plus one cardinal rule: give people an inch and they'll take a mile.

It depends on the type of drunk really. But yes... 99/100 drunks are annoying.

And the other 1/100 is funny because he sets himself on fire or ghost rides his whip.

In Canada it is already legal in small quantities.
