You won't get the most out of CurvedSpace if you lurk.

In general, most of us aren't posting threads, and replies are far lower than views. Also in a lot of my recent Arbiter-related threads, I'm getting responses in private but not in replies... I'm not sure why. Those threads could be closed and accomplish the same exact thing.

It's okay to post. Threads don't need to contribute to humanity, and replies are what keep threads alive and ideas moving around. Activity will also seem to increase, and new members would be more likely to get involved.

Lurking is basically just watching, while posting is involvement. The mods shouldn't be critical of what one says unless it's obscene, so there's nothing to worry about.

As much as you want in the Insanity Board.

Outside the Insanity Board, the mods shouldn't nitpick every single instance of spam, but all I'd ask is that members aren't excessive with it. An isolated instance of it won't hurt, and it could be intended as a joke, so it's no big deal and shouldn't be considered a big deal. Chains of spam are what will get a thread moved or split to the IB.

This place is pretty cool, of course ill use our clans sigs... however i have to figure out how to get the codes for them first. i posted about this in one of thread posts you made cspace, but i havent gotten a reply on it yet.

honestly, the reason i don't post a lot, is because I've gotten to the point where i read the post, consider the topic and flow of the conversation, and then make a decent and informed decision as to weither or not i should reply. if i decide i can contribute to a post, i do, but if its about say, guild wars last expansion, which i know nothing about, i refrain from making superfelous comments, and shanghi'ing the topic onto some other track.

but i'm still here, and still posting.
