Hmm.. I really like some parts of The Poet and the Pendulum, but it's all over the place and I think that and the length stop it from being a favourite for me. 7 Days to the Wolves is pretty good, I guess. For some reason I just prefer some of the older songs, maybe it's because they've got a fairly distinct style and it seemed more original to me back then.

That's true. I'd like "The Poet and the Pendulum" a lot more if they just removed the last bit of it since it just cuts out and then you think it's the start of a new song when in fact it's the ending. Some of the new stuff you can definitely tell as being Nightwish but some are just completely new and different...
And I don't like how the song titles are longer and more generic, such as "Bye Bye Beautiful", "Cadence Of Her Last Breath" and "For The Heart I Once Had" - they just sound majorly corny and something I could imagine an emo band would dream up.

Every time I see '7 Days to the Wolves' I think it says Wolves in the Throne Room. Who you should all listen to because they make the most epic music ever and it's awesome.
