I'm sure some of you are wondering why the game/website wasn't working for 3 hours this morning.

It was caused by a hardware failure at our main hosting facility. At around 1:30am GMT for some reason the router/firewall broke and stopped forwarding traffic to the internet! (why do these things always seems to happen in the middle of the night at the weekend?)

So having been woken up at an absurd hour in the morning to receive this unwelcome news, we've now managed to rectify the problem.

P.S. Bleugh only 2 hours sleep, but hardly worth going home again now, so I'll just get on with some sleep deprived programming

I was working until 4:30 am on Thursday helping the websystems team launch the new billing system, (giving me 2 hours sleep that night too), then again until midnight on Friday, I also worked on Saturday, and now just got called in after 2 hours sleep on Sunday morning.

More coffee needed me thinks.....

I live about 3 miles away from their main place, i can go there and complain in person if you want.
