For me the memories are mostly of it causing fights. Some people spamming excessively to try to be the first one to buy things, and some other people going nazi-mod because of that.

I remember how I had almost no Gil. I would stare longingly at the trinkets calling my name. *sigh*
I did buy one of those mug things and a Sir Spamalot action figure, though.

Ah, fun times. I overtook Goto and was the Gil leader for a good while. I think I might have been the leader when the SeeD Shop was closed. I was definitely in the top three.
