Yep. I graduated High school last night. The real effect hasn't kicked in just yet, but when it does, I'm sure it'll be pretty cool.
Ended my night with a LAN party that rolled until 6 AM, and woke up at 8 AM to come home. Cleaned a lot of things up with people I had problems with and started a new slate with some people.
Essentially, everything in my life now is awesome. And I haven't had that in quite a while.
Anyone else out there graduating/graduated/something like that recently or anytime soon? :3

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Right now, I actually have a pretty cool proposition in front of me. My brother works in the oilfield, and he can get me a job offer working for 50k a year ($800 every week). Only problem is, I wouldn't be able to start school if I took that job. So I may take it for a year, pack some cash away, and THEN go to school.
Otherwise, at the moment, a major isn't something I've been thinking about. I'm going to go for the general studies in the beginning and try to find something I like in the meantime.

And thanks, everyone.

Wow, congratulations, Res! Just think, ~12 years of forced school over.
I wish you luck in society and reality.
How... encouraging...

I miss high school. I've been in the real world for 2 years; it sucks worse than high school did.
How... encouraging...
