Must Have Done Something Right

Posted by JGJTan  Icon, 19 August 2007 - 11:49 AM

Whoops I seemed to have forgotten to blog yesterday. Oh well, nothing exciting apart from WoW happened today so there's still space to blog about yesterday. :P

So we had soccer in the morning!! I was totally pumped for the match... and then I saw it was raining. Not so pumped. So for once I didn't put hair gel in since it'd go all runny in my hair and disgusting when the water'd get to it. But I put the container of gel in my bag just in case the weather cleared up and I'd need it. Yes, I'm an extremely vain person and it's awesome. So along with my spare set of clothes and soccer uniform, in went my hair gel and towels for the rain and spare plastic bags. So armed with my umbrella and dressed in my new clothes, I drove to school for the match. :D

It's kinda weird. I never travel to the soccer match in my soccer gear, it just seems too weird. I end up getting changed AT the field because mufti is way cooler than a sports uniform. So after getting changed and warming up... the game started.

And we actually played awesomely in the first half. We scored the first goal of the game which suprised us and St. John's since they're top of the table and we're about 3rd/4th. We put up a tough game but then they scored against us because of a penalty shootout. So at half time it was 1-1 and I managed to play an awesome round, even Mr. Hardaker said I was going real good. But second half was a bit worse, we got an own goal since the ball deflected off Cameron and David was standing on the other side from where the ball went in. And in the last 10mins or so they scored a goal securing the match for them. But we played our hearts out and it was all good. Although I got a hell of a bruise around my eye from when I took a ball to the face while defending... it's still there sorta, just a bit red. Me and Lillis got player of the match which rocked!! I was kinda surprised at mine, but Mr. Hardaker said I'm the person who's improved the most over the season and this match was the best I've played since he said I defended extremely well, even against some of their best players. :)

I arrived at Melville all by myself to get their signature for the scorecard and I kinda got nervous. I hid myself behind my umbrella so no one would see me and just waited until everyone dispersed to get ready and I talked to their coach, asking for their captain...

And then everyone turned around. Except Nathan thank god, he just kept on walking since he didn't hear and was too busy laughing at some joke. So the captain completely agreed about the score and signed with no problems which was good as. But then the guy on the sideline Shaun, who wasn't playing due to a cold, yelled out "OI NATHAN, GUESS WHO'S COME HERE TO SEE YOU??" and I just turned red and hid behind my umbrella, but Shaun just pushed it down. Then Nathan was like "JONNY!! I thought it was you behind that but I wasn't too sure, you look way different out of uniform" and I got all embarrassed and his team just snickered away. So when they all went to their positions, Shaun invited me to continue watching the game since I was going to leave so I just stayed to support and we had a nice old talk for ages. :P

... and then Shaun suddenly turned around to look at 2 girls crossing the field and walked towards them. When they got closer... crap. It was Nathan's girlfriend. As soon as she saw me, she was like to Shaun (I was trying to act like I was watching the match but kept an ear out to them) "Why's HE here?!" and he explained the reason why. For the rest of the match I just stood there in embarrassment trying to ignore her but every now and then when I'd turn around and act like I was just looking around aimlessly, I'd catch her glancing at me. Jeez, she's got a hell of a stare. And when the match ended, Nathan was walking towards me smiling when she just ran up and hugged him and then he said something and she wandered over to his dad. And then Nathan came up to me and with a laugh said "Thanks for coming to watch the match, Jonny!" and then shook my hand and walked back to his girlfriend.

So I got all embarrassed since you could feel the tension in the air and I was too scared to ask his number to just keep in touch so I just left. But walking across the field, when I nearly got to the road I turned around and saw his girlfriend hugging him and I could just hear her saying/quietly shouting something to her friend which was "I don't care who HE is, he's MY boyfriend!" Jesus, someone's got issues. I was only being friendly. :P

~ Jonny

Cameron: I volunteered to go 2nd to last for speeches last year but Mr. Matthews said no and said he'd organize it by drawing names out of a hat.
Me: So what number did you end up getting?
Cameron: My name wasn't even in the hat.

Dreams Come True

Posted by JGJTan  Icon, 15 August 2007 - 11:49 AM

Yes, I know. I have an unhealthy obsession and it's driving me insane. But I get to see him this Saturday which is sooo awesome... I'll explain. :P

So today I was just whinging and moaning about Nathan per usual, then David said that the official results from last week's match was wrong, stating that Morrinsville won and not us. Turns out that the only way for that to happen was for Morrinsville to have submitted their scorecard saying that they won and we lost. So I immediately suggested a road trip to Morrinsville to settle the argument but David immediately shouted no and everyone just rolled their eyes and just said Nathan. So I just defended their team saying it must have been their evil captain who did that, since their team was awesome apart from the captain who was evil to me and Nathan. :sure:

So I just kept whinging for the whole day and at lunchtime something interesting happened.

We were just discussing it over and stuff and I just wandered away from the group of them to the others and just talked... and then I sudden heard a "THAT'S PERFECT! JONNY!!" and I was like "what?" from where I was sitting and Matt, David and Mitch were like "you can go see Nathan this Saturday!" and I just jumped out of me seat, crashing into the schoolbags on the floor in my failed attempt at standing up. Turns out to settle this altercation, we need to take our scorecard and get both coaches/captains from each team to sign the card with the correct score on it. So they said I could do it since I'm so mad about Nathan, although they want someone else to come with me since they said that I'd get too distracted by Nathan and not focus on the real reason why. :P

Afterwards, with a happy feeling of warmth and joy inside of me, I went to the noticeboard to check where Morrinsville were playing this week and they're playing at Melville. We've got our game at 9am and theirs is at 11am so once our game finishes, I'll either make it just before their game starts or right after, but I don't care. I'll just be hanging around to watch since it'll be awesome. Ahh I'm so excited. And it was funny since as soon as it was announced I was going to meet the team, everyone just told me to get Nathan's number this time. Hell yeah, I ain't gonna be afraid or nervous this time. Although I might need lessons from Blair as to how to get a guy's number... I only know how to get a girl's number unfortunately. :P

I don't think there's anything else interesting to mention. That was practically the highlight of my day and will be until Saturday. I must be in heaven. :P

Wait, now I remember something. We watched something which resembled porn in Classics today and less like Alexander. Seriously, that movie is SO CRAP. Ugh, Colin Farrell ruins the image of Alexander, he SUCKS at acting. And wow, that movie has porn in it? That sex scene was completely unnecessary, complete with sounds and full body shots. Not to mention his scene of getting naked with Hephaesteon.

Oh, finally went back to work today. I kept making such silly mistakes and it got quite embarrassing... although I still have my annoying and slightly-Australian customer voice. And I get to train two new checkout operators tomorrow which will be awesome as. I love training newbies, it's so much fun. :D

OH YEAH. I'm so annoyed with Mrs. Redpath at the moment. She suddenly decided that she'd enter us all in for extra papers at the end of the year when we don't need them unless we want to work towards our Merit/Excellence certificates which I don't want to, truth be told. I like her as a teacher, but she ain't very good to be honest. She doesn't give out notes and she expects everyone to be doing work at home and when she asks a question or tells us to write an essay, she expects us to do it. Me and Carl are pretty annoyed with her, I'm seriously doubting whether or not I'll be able to pass English at all this year. And English is one of my strong subjects... the only fun I've had in English this year was creative writing. I love to write and I don't want to just sit back and listen to her talk all the time without learning much. Her notes are basically non-existant and it drives me insane. :scream:

And today she expected us to finish our film reviews... but we didn't start until 10mins into the period because she was busy at the Deans' office, then after 5mins she stopped us to talk for 10mins about the stupid extra papers at the end of the year and about King Lear. So then we had less than 35mins to do an hour's work and I was in a pretty foul mood for the rest of the period. Only Carl could safely talk to me without getting snapped at since he kept leaning on me and he has a nice smell. But once the period was over I got annoyed since I had only just managed to finish and hadn't started my good copy and I had work immediately afterschool, and Carl hadn't finished his good copy and had to catch the bus so we managed to convince Mrs. Redpath to let us finish them on Friday. Thank god for that... I'd have actually gotten really annoyed since it would have been completely unfair had we not been given the extra time. :sure:

OMG I'M SO FIRED UP FOR SATURDAY!! *sigh* Nathan is going to be so surprised it'll be hilarious. Then again, so will his whole team. I gotta think of what to wear on Saturday...

~ Jonny

Mr. Hassall: Ahh yes gentlemen, I'm afraid we do have to watch this rather poor film again. It's just a nice little break from all your study. Look beyond the bizarre Irish accents, the American propaganda, this mysterious creature by the name of Colin Farrell who tries to act, and fails, and another of these famous actresses with botox in her lips.

L.S.F. (Lost Souls Forever)

Posted by JGJTan  Icon, 14 August 2007 - 11:55 AM

I hate Nathan. I can't stop whining about him and I want to see him again and it's driving me nuts. :sure:

And I just realized that I'm not going to see heaps of people from production ever again, well maybe not for another year. A lot of the people in it this year I'd never even met before then like Tom or Cory. Apparently Blair's known Tom since Year 10 and Tom knew me from last year's production when he went to see it. But it's frustrating because I'll never see heaps of people ever again and a lot of them were really cool like Jessie and Hannah and stuff. Me and Jessie had so much fun laughing and giggling at the table-top role-players in Vagabond. :(

I've gotten back into bebo mode again. I decided to log back on to check up on stuff because I suddenly got a whole lot of request and comments today so I decided to answer them and now I can't stop checking bebo every now and then. It's damn addictive and it's killing me. :(

Oh yeah, Mr. Mayall suggested this really cool thing to me. I was like drawing in my shiny new visual notepad I've created and he came to see what I was doing. He then recommended I make something called a sound diary or a dream diary, where I sit down and listen for 30mins and just draw whatever I hear, or sleep and then draw what I dream. It's a really cool idea and I plan on starting it tomorrow. I didn't get to do it today because I was preoccupied with other things and I went to town with Callum so I couldn't draw afterschool. But it's fun and I'm glad I've gotten back into drawing, it's so much fun. :)

I'm also now VERY poor. I ended up buying De-loused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta today. That makes a total of 8 cds in the past 2 weeks which is just nuts, since I haven't worked at all for like 3 weeks to make up the money spent. Not to mention the two posters and all the other things I've been spending my money on. I'm pretty sure I have about... $55 or so left, $5 in cash and the rest in my bank account. Never have I been this poor in my life and it's driving me insane. :mecry:

I caught the bus this morning!! It was kinda weird since I got up at 7am and left the house just before 7.30am to walk for about 10-15mins and caught the Orbiter to school, arriving just past 8am at school. Usually when I catch a ride with mum we always leave late as but now since she's in Christchurch for a week, I have to make my way to school on my own and I've gotten too lazy to bike (cover excuse) so I just catch the bus. But tomorrow I have to bike because I have work straight after school finishes... when I get to school my hair's going to be a mess! It's the reason why I don't bike anymore, I like my new hairstyle with the gel and stuff. I'm such a weirdo. :(

I miss Nathan... I'm eventually going to begin stalking him due to withdrawal syndrome. I know he doesn't miss me THIS much, if at all, but I'm still allowed to pine and whinge and moan. :P

~ Jonny

*while watching the terrible film (in my opinion) Alexander*
Me (whispering): Hey, what's wrong with Mr. Hassall? Look at him, he looks sad and grumpy... I'm worried.
Matthew: Maybe something bad's happened!
Narayan: He's never looked like this before...
*Mr. Hassall suddenly jerks up and is his normal self but eventually goes back to his sad and grumpy look*
Matthew: Oh wait, he's just falling asleep.

Everlasting Friend

Posted by JGJTan  Icon, 11 August 2007 - 12:40 AM

How odd, a blog entry during the day! And it's only just past midday which is creepy. But I have to since I won't be around tonight due to the party and I just HAVE to blog. :P

I had a terrible night of sleep due to being excited about today. I didn't get to bed until 1am and then I only had 3 hours of good sleep. Then after that I kept waking up every half-hour for 3 hours and I ended up just giving up with sleep in the end and just sat in bed for a while. :(

Morrinsville. Was. Awesome.

We got to Morrinsville and met up with everyone in our team. Kinda funny how when we have an away game in Morrinsville of all places, we get the biggest turnout to a soccer match ever. I immediately started walking and looking around and Callum embarrassed me by guessing right when he smiled and said to me "So who or what are you looking out for?" Damn Callum. And everyone kept telling me to not talk as much... and Nathan wasn't there when we got there. They had like 6 players there and it was about half an hour before the match started which was odd and I got worried so then everyone just started cracking jokes about me and Nathan which was pretty funny. But then...

"JONNY!!" I immediately turned around and just yelled out "NATHAN!!" Ahh I felt special, he remembered my name!! So we just talked for a while and it turns out that when he found out that he was playing us this week he couldn't wait and was like "Hey, I'll be able to talk to Jonny again!!" and omg that was awesome. Then he was like "So you're in left back again?" and I was like "Hell yeah!" and he was all like "Sweet!" and was pretty happy and walked off. But then we had to have our team talk and David immediately looked at me and told me to stop conversing with the enemy and people kept saying traitor (all in good humour of course). And when he started with positions I immediately stuck my hand out and was like "LEFT BACK" and he just stared at me then overlooked me sorting out other people. I got so frustrated, he just didn't want me to talk to Nathan but I ended up getting the position after getting all cow-ish at him. Ahh it felt so good. :P

Cosgrove pointed something out to me though. He was like "Hey, wasn't that guy in Grease?" pointing at Nathan and I was confused. Turns out Daniel thought he'd seen him in the Morrinsville College production this year and he was a guy in the play and Daniel said he was the best actor and singer there. He wasn't too sure though and I was nervous and scared to ask so we just didn't say anything. And then the game started...

And Nathan immediately headed towards me. Kinda funny, although Bucky killed the mood by singing a silly love song. So we just talked and joked for ages and it was real nice to be able to talk to him again, I'd been looking forward to it for ages. His team just kept joking around about us and so did my team but we didn't care. Although Sam asked "Why did you have to pick a ginge of all people?" and I hit him for that. But the scariest thing is...

He's a bloody 5th former. Seriously, he looks like he's our age or maybe slightly older but noo, he told me he's in 5th form. So then he started cracking height jokes and I just retaliated back so it was all good. Although I think I kept putting him off when I cheered him on while I was tackling him for the ball and he couldn't stop smiling and tried to hold back laughter but failed several times. And then half time came and we just high-fived each other and shook hands and then immediately launched into a game of p-knuckle... which I won! I managed to somehow twist him so his arm was behind his back although he got out of it and I immediately held his thumb down and won. Carl and Bucky gave me congrats and his team were just laughing. :P

So when we got back on, he subbed off after about 10mins and I stayed on. But then when I went to sub, their captain immediately subbed him back on and we were pretty annoyed since we just wanted to chill so when he went back on and I went off, we just did an awesome high-five. Although the linesman was laughing and was like to me "I don't think the captain wants you guys to talk" and all the parents on the sideline were smiling at me which was kinda creepy. So I just hung around watching him and joking about him every now and then while he was away from the ball and we just chatted between kicks. So when I went back on we immediately moved to each other and just talked and talked. Ahh talking is so awesome. And he pointed out to me the strange thing how we'd never met each other before 3 weeks ago and when we did, it was during a game for only an hour and a half and yet we were good friends. Sometimes things like that happen which rocks. :)

So after the game (we won 5-3 but I don't really care about that, as you can tell) we just shook hands and congratulated each other, and I shook hands with a few others from his team since I'd been talking to them as well during the game from time to time. So we did the whole three cheers thing and then lined up to shake their hands. I ended up getting 3 arse-slaps and just a smile and handshake from Nathan which was kinda funny. So many jokes about us two were thrown back and forth which made me turn red. And then someone on his team yelled out "I think you guys should swap numbers now!!" and I got all embarrassed and so did he so we just walked off. I was about to ask him but then...

I think his girlfriend came. I was like "... oh" when I saw her so I just said nothing more to him and walked off. Damn nervousness gets the better of me sometimes. :P

Time to get ready for production and the party tonight!! Ahh after all the excitement this morning I feel pretty knackered. And I'm going to really regret not getting his number in the near future...

~ Jonny

Nathan: When I found out we were playing you guys this week, I immediately was like "Sweet! Now I can talk to Jonny again!"

The Best Thing

Posted by JGJTan  Icon, 09 August 2007 - 10:40 AM

What might the best thing in the world be? Hugs of course! :)

After having practically 3 days off of school, I went back today. It wasn't so bad although I was actually really tired by the end of first period. Nothing interesting actually happened in school, although I'm currently trying to learn Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel on the piano and I spent all of my Music class learning it and managed to get the first 16 bars good enough to be played at a reasonable speed without many mistakes... quite an achievement for someone who doesn't really play piano. :D

Oh yeah, today Callum was checking out the movies screening for the International Film Festival being played in Hamilton. I'd seen the schedule a few weeks before thanks to Boris and a few movies stood out which I definitely wanted to watch, especially The Italian and Priceless which stars Audrey Tautou. Best actress ever. But then I glanced at the shedule again and noticed some other films I really wanted to see like Control. I dunno, I just have this big liking for depressing films which is kinda strange, but movies which are sombre and have a sad atmosphere always seem to have really good storylines and are somehow really attractive. :)

Afterschool, me, Cam and Cal went to Netcafix to meet up with Sam and Sma (Harwood) since me and Cal needed to hang around town to wait for production to start and Cam decided to come to Netcafix with us. We played some C&C3 (I got really freaked out by the radar jamming and just as I was about to invade this one guy's base my computer gave me the blue screen of death so I just cbf after that) and then moved onto Counter-Strike. I just suck at both those games so I'm pretty much the noob, I should have just stuck to my MMOs or something. :P

Tonight was our best night yet for production. Despite it being the hostels from Boys' and Girls' High, they were a really great audience and we got through the play with hardly any hiccups. Although as soon as the play started, me and the girl next to me were counting down the pages until Act I was over and we could get out of the light. I got another piggy back ride from Tom but then Mr. Leach told us off because we were being too loud so we had to stop. Oh but then I met someone I hadn't seen in ages, Nikkita from last year's production!! It was awesome stuff to just catch up and she was just her usual self. But the funniest bit of the night...

Me and Tom were listening to songs on my iPod when Cory came along. Tom then tried to get Cory to listen to some "pretty sweet songs" on my iPod but Cory wouldn't budge... turns out Cory's a "{expletive Chuck Norris'd by Cspace}" in his terms haha he listens to R&B and rap and hip hop and stuff like that. So I ended up trying to find a song on my iPod which he might like but it was pretty difficult... he liked the intro to some songs (Revolutionaire by Mana3, w00t) but then didn't like the rest of the songs. But then I found one he found acceptable... but Tom didn't like it. Trying to make two people with completely different musical tastes to your own (well, mostly anyway) is pretty darn hard. Tom's more into acoustic guitar, lounge songs or just heavy-ish songs, just no screaming or death metal or rap and stuff. I ended up nearly giving up but then I found my good ol' favourite...

Zoot Suit Riot by the Cherry Poppin' Daddies. Yay, they both actually liked it! And they were doing all the drumming and the singing and stuff which was hilarious to watch. My god, sometimes it's nearly impossible to make two people happy at once. :P

After the show I also bumped into Sam from last year's production as well, she was a BV (backing vocal) girl and she's got an amazing singing voice. We exchanged hugs and talked for a while and just caught up which was really nice. And then more hugs and more talking and then I just showed her around so she could see all the old faces from last year. And then more hugs and then we both had to go. :P

But there's one thing I can't stop thinking about despite all that's happening with my life at the moment...

Ugh. I'm SO annoyed with heaps of people at school at the moment. Every single time I get excited about going to Morrinsville for soccer people immediately are like "Nathan!! Now you can see your boyfriend again!!" and then I think I mentioned it during some random class and this one guy was like "Why the hell would you want to go to Morrinsville of all places? Usually you get an opposite reaction to that" and then someone replied with "He just wants to go see his male lover again" and I was all like "ARGH!!" He's just a fun person to talk to. :sure:

So I Thought

Posted by JGJTan  Icon, 23 July 2007 - 11:43 AM

So I was thinking of three things during soccer training today and I couldn't get them out of my mind which was really frustrating.

1) Wellington. Holy crap it'll be really awesome to go studying in Wellington. Wellington's the arts central of New Zealand and I plan on doing a double major for my Bachelor of Arts (darn them for not allowing a Bachelor of Liberal Arts) in Philosophy and Education. Not to mention me and Callum plan on flatting together down there and we're dragging along another friend of ours called Carl since he plans on studying Law and the uni there is pretty good for that. So it'll be really awesome down there!! But... I won't be surprised if my room's going to be the only clean one. We had this theory that the whole flat would be a mess and then there would be a little space around me and my room which would be perfectly clean. :P

2) Nathan. I wanna play Morrinsville again... he was really fun to talk to! And I'd only met him that day... Callum said I should have gotten his number haha but it would have been weird then. But now I'm regretting it rofl the convos with him were hilarious and he's a really nice person. :D

3) Wine. I realized that while freezing in shorts and a shirt that I felt like some really nice wine. I can't wait 'til I turn 18. I have this idea that as soon as I turn 18 I'm gonna hit all the clubs in Hamilton to celebrate... but I'll end up getting to school the next day with a mean headache and the club stamps all up my arm which I won't have been able to remove. Not to mention it'll be around exam time so I'll be sooo screwed. But Carl's gonna celebrate with me!! Grr I'm so annoyed he turns 18 like halfway through the year and I have to wait like 3 months before I can go out with him. :sure:

Today was pretty average I have to say. It was still a good day though, pretty humorous during Music. All the teachers were having a breakdown and it was crazy... All because the coffee pot was cracked. Mr. Sutherland began swearing and Mr. Botting abandoned his important HOF work and just broke down on the floor and couldn't believe it was true. So Mr. Sutherland hatched a master plan and ran out of the Music Dept. and Mr. Botting immediately went on TradeMe to hunt for coffee machines... then Mr. Sutherland came running back with a shiny coffee machine. He ended up stealing it from the Deans' office so all ended well once they threw out the old one. :P

Oh! We're doing formal writing for English now and we have to do a film review... so Mrs. Redpath is making us study Hot Fuzz!! OMG. Now I'm actually going to enjoy going to English!! And on Friday we got our Creative Writing results back and... I GOT EXCELLENCE!! I was sooo stoked. I should scan it once I get back... I'm proud of it so much. And I wanna see Callum's one since he got Excellence too and he said his was like film noir. What makes it even better is that only 6 students across our year level got Excellence which is real awesome. :)

Ugh and darn Mr. Hassall keeps using me as an example as a model student now. I just asked him one question at the start of the period since it had relevance to this Thursday's test (oh yeah I got A+ for my little test on Alexander - didn't get A++ because I lacked more detailed answers) on religion and he immediately used me as an example to the whole class of a student with a very good question and answer and then proceeded to ask me heaps of questions during the period. My god I want him to get back to using Aaron or Shaun or Lillis as a good example, he's applying too much pressure to me. :(

Anyway, I gotta pack my bags now. I'm lending Carl my copy of Harry Potter since his evil sister stole his copy and I had to protect him and Mitch today from spoilers people were talking about. And I know Carl would get EXTREMELY mad if anyone said anything so I gotta get it to him ASAP. Night night now!!

Mr. Kilkelly: I wish I was like you back when I was in school... you must have the most cruisiest timetable ever.
Me: Why's that sir?
Mr. Kilkelly: You're texting, listening to your iPod and sitting on the stairs. You do this everyday, 5 periods a week!

What You Meant

So I have to admit, today was pretty awesome! Soccer + Harry Potter + no work = AWESOME.

Soccer was pretty cool. We played Morrinsvile 1st XI and it was kinda interesting. We lost to them in the grading game of the season 3-2 and today we ended up losing to them 2-1 but it was a real awesome match. I usually play sports for fun and sometimes when it really matters I'll play for competition but usually it's a little bit of both... but mostly fun! And it's weird, in soccer I always seem to mark the friendly people. That is, I always talk to them now and then or just joke around but not too often.

Today was different. I was marking this guy Nathan and he was pretty funny. We became friends almost immediately in my strange fashion of "G'day there, I'll be your marker for today! *laugh*" and instead of the usual greeting (still always friendly) he actually replied back with a funny joke and a laugh. So basically for the whole game, we were just talking to each other and making jokes here and there... being VERY unusually chummy. Commenting about some things I actually won't mention here because it's funny, mean and embarrassing... :P

Anyway, we were talking heaps. We kept distracting each other which was even funnier and we both have a humorous attitude towards things. We'd just crack jokes or chat and comment on stuff - we even did our own rendition of Eye of the Tiger where he sang the lyrics and I voiced the guitar riff to it. It was like we'd been friends for ages which was awesome. At the start of the second half we walked past each other and immediately did a high-five before going to our halves. Then we managed to start p-knuckle (sp? I really dunno how to spell that) but had to quickly abandon the game and fight for the ball when it came down our side. What's funny is that we both managed to distract each other and when we fought for the ball, it was all just for a laugh. :D

But it was kinda weird... David was like to me at the end of the first half "Stop chatting with your boyfriend and start playing the game!" and Carl was like at the end of the match "Don't go for the ginge!! *laugh/wink/nudge*" (Nathan's got reddish-brown hair). Gosh, things always get misinterpreted when they're about me. Although then again I guess it seemed like we were umm... being extremely friendly towards each other from an outside perspective now that I think about it. It didn't help that Carl and an opposing team member were whispering and laughed/giggled now and then while glancing towards us. And when Nathan went to sub a replacement came on and was like "So I hear you're the guy giving Nathan a hard time" with a laugh. But the weirdest thing was when the game ended and we did the congrats cheers and went to shake the other teams' hands...

All the team members perked up a grin when they shook my hand. And then Nathan shook my hand... and slapped my arse. Seriously, what the hell? So I'm really confused at the moment because I've never had that happen before in a situation where I didn't understand what the person meant. I might have to ask Blair on Monday.

And thanks to my friendliness, I got player of the match!! Quite funny actually. I can't wait to play Morrinsville again. :P

Oh, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is awesome. I won't say anything else.

*Nathan battles Mitch for the ball and they both collide while trying to header*
