Yes, but isn't daylight savings in effect in EST now? So that would close the time difference to 4 hours. Check the timezone converter that Goto posted.

I can't do any Runescaping for at least 2 or 3 weeks, so I will miss the wedding. Sorry, but I give you my best wishes, and I hope the hitch goes off without a hitch!

EST = Eastern Standard Time (5 hours behind GMT)
EDT = Eastern Daylight Time (4 hours behind GMT)

Same across the US and many other time zones. For instance:

PST = Pacific Standard Time (8 hours behind GMT)
PDT = Pacific Daylight Time (7 hours behind GMT; currently in effect)

Also... Daylight Savings Time is all screwy. Some areas follow it; others don't. Parts of the East Coast use Standart time year-round...

I say just post the time in GMT and let everyone figure it out for themselves...

Grenwich Mean Time. The time it is in the UK, all other times are calculated form GMT.

well, here's my progress in wedding prep so far:
-I have picked out my outfit
--although it would be better if I had a berret (HINT HINT

-I have the following food items:
