For the varrock sewers nothing over 20 combat id say...you usualy wont get anything good for that, but its still fun...if you have a newb follower I should also mention that this is a good way to despence of em'( they are usualy persistant beyond thoughts of personal saftey). though I always think it fair to first ask them to stop following, then warn, then deal with them. costumed-smiley-089.gif ....I like this new smilie( or however you spell that word).

btw: im only kinda back(junky comp and all). my other one busted so ive been gone a while, but im not rich...im not even moderately wealthy...hmm, yeah well any ways I cant afford much new stuff so hand me down and cheap junk is what keeps me going online when im able to get on at all sad.gif

I don't really think that can happen in sewers BUT i know waaaaaaaaay better place lol i loved doin that here:
1) any noob lower then lvl 40 and IN ARMOR
2) tell them if they wont somethonig ike a sword - say you're having a drop party or something and tell him to get something to drop maybe or something
3)!!! have to be in varrock let him follow you to varock wizards!!! they will atack him especially a lvl lower then 10 will die in 3 sec and hopefully he wont run and die leaving his stuff IF he is goin to run tel him stuff like "wait i will help you" and start walking around the circle there he might think that you will "rpotect" him but u won't thumb.gif

4) the only thing is that you need to stay where he dies because whoever trains there can get stuff what he dropes especially the friste thing is most expensive so just cick on it

btw: right click works faster if u can click fast biglaugh.gif

i was doin that when i was training my range on wizards and one kid droped 10k mith stuff and some food (dunno why he didnt eat conf.gif )
well its hard work icon_sweatdrop.gif anyways

and i think it's better then sewers because wizards (dark ones) can atack more then 1 together (can be even 8 of em) and armor doesn't have any protection from magic
dam its so funny when they come and ask u for stuff back and say that they will report you and you are selinh his stuff by that time lol10.gif

Um... thats scamming in a sence...I mean, it is one thing to speed up the inevatable demise of a wayward wanderer who is bitting off more then he/she can chew. even using it as a tactic to get a newb who just wont following and bugging you after you have given them ample warning is exeptable.but to lead them away from relative saftey, with flat out lies, and to then hold them there with an extention on said lies, to the effect of depriving them of theyre property...well, it is almost an elaborated alt+f4 scam. there is a chance you could even be reported by the victim and or spectators for such actions. I would advise against such a tactic. you could get into some reall trouble doing that. my suggestion is a little under handed, but it takes advantage of a loop hole in the system and does not out rite break any rules. however as a new location for the old tactic, varrock wizards seems like a good place. I am not trying to be offensive toward you, ur nitmare, however I can not endorse any rule breaking. im not sure what to deo with this now that it has presented its self. is this a probleme? I am going to talk to some of the other board mods to see what category this falls into, becuase im not quite sure how to handle it or even if it is nesesary to do so....once again, ur nitmare, I mean no personal offence toward you. And it is not my intention to blow this out of preportion. I am not exactly sure if a line has been crossed here so I need to confer with some other mods, check rules ect. ect.( just um...covering the bases).

Um, that's not really killing outside the wild. More like preventing life... And I do it all the time.

*Go south through the big red devil-like thingies and you'll get to the exit... grnwink.gif *

And that really is a scam, nitmare. Don't do it. Just say no!

thnx doomed1, I was wondering if any one would concer with me...I pmed the other mods on this forum I havnt got a reply from one yet, and the other seems to have left seed. I have pm cspace to see wat if any thing needs to be done to the post or topic, and am waiting for a reply. From every thing I gather cspace is a very busy person, and so I know to be patient and that he will get to the matter in time. the probleme is, that it suggests a scam, dressed as a tactic...I have deliverd a polite warning about such talk, and also warned others who would read it, that it isnt a good idea, and can get you in trouble with jagex if you impliment it. however, i dont know if that is sufficient or if I should have it edited or deleted? so I have been basicaly attempting to get a second opinion on this so I know exactly what to do. I guess, becuase I am a mod on this forum I should know what to do eh? thing is I have been a mod for some time now, and been on seed a really long time...but this board(pk discution), has never really need much moderation. I cant recall any spamming. and this is only about the 2nd or 3rd thing that has ever come up in here while ive been active. so, I really dont have alot of moderating exp. but here I dont seem to need it, if antything big happens chances are I will be informed on what to do if any thing. That, and this being an old topic, is why I think it is a small matter...but still a matter none the less. at any rate im just trying to do wat im supposed ta and at the same time not over step my boundries...im jus gana try to walk lightly and be polite about the matter.

Yes, it is technically a scam to trick someone into basically getting themselves killed. If someone is just bothering you and you say that you're going into a dangerous place or something and they follow, that is different than promising riches for walking into a death trap. We will not stand for any tactics to indirectly steal a player's items through a trick, even if not involving a trade.

yeah stargate I know...hehehe coolgleamA.gif

and ur nitmare, as long as you recognise that it is (now that you have been informed), its kewl. cuase like it has been said, it is one thing to take advantage of a situation that presents its self by knowing where to be and how to act, wich is a lil' mean and at best clever. but to set said situation up through deception, is where the line should be drawn. I would just suggest not trying it that way cuase it could get ya' introuble(even though some noobs that really get on the nerves might need it, not cuase they deserve but have to learn how thing work, and that ppl dont like that sort of thing...ive been tempted to do just that before lol). but its kewl no harm done.
