The Rebels Have Broken Up

Thats good news. Good work Cspace handling this thing, it resolved itself without us having to do anything. I'm sorry to all you Rebels out there, but this isn't that strange a chance. It seemed highly likely to me that with your purpose as a clan denied people would lose interest. If you wish to start over again, my suggestion is to do so as some other kind of clan, so it lasts longer.
I have no problem with Rebels joining, so long as they go by the rules while they're here.. Forgive and Forget, eh?

Yes, it's true. I was a mod there. Giraffes11. And as much as I hate to say it, it happened. It hurts......It really does. I never thought it'd turn out like this, but it did. I'd like to personally flame Slipknut, but this is not the place to do it. I think he could have kept us going, but he was too scared to do it. Who ever came up with 'trust' was a liar........ |
Hmm... I wasn't there when he thought about disbanding Rebels. He wasn't much of a leader. Not very strong himself... Probably that he didn't have Green's backing on decisions. He needed green's advice. It was probably green that kept him going.

We hold nothing against the Rebels, nor did we have negative intentions when they were plotting our destruction. They were allowed to exist as any clan and have any purpose, it is just that a few members turned the clan against us. Even though the aura of the Rebels was one of planned domination over us, it does not mean that their members were our enemies. Yes, there was flaming against us, and a few SeeDs responded with similar methods. One Rebel who will remain anonymous was discussing the hacking of our website and a few Rebels were spreading lies about SeeD. While this was happening, this was not the doing of the Rebels but of branching objectives in their clan from a few members. In any clan there are always going to be a few who branch from the clan's objectives to go against their general stance in situations. They exist in SeeD, they exist in the Rebels, and they exist in any clan of any decent size, and a clan should not be judged based on the actions of a few regardless of the impact they may have. A few SeeDs started the hostilities which led to all this, our entire clan was blamed for them, but we do not need to blame the Rebels for the same reason.
The Rebels will not be blamed for it because the Rebels themselves just had goals to become powerful through us; we obviously cannot do nothing, but instead of going to war we tried to use words to accomplish our goals and end the conflict. We did not intend for it to put pressure on them to be a factor to end their clan.
If they wish to start again we can help them, either through promotion, events, or general suggestions and tips from those leading SeeD since 2001 (and Rylkan and I for general leadership assistance, we both have gone through a four-year leadership program and have had training with an outside organization as well; also Crescens is working through the four-year program currently). Please skim our clan-making guide (which will soon be having a big update) for ideas, many clans have sent comments to me on how it helped them succeed initially and even get through common situations without trouble. If assistance is required with a website you know who to ask, and feel free to look through CurvedSpace's webmaster section for some great hosts to start with and some coding tutorials. If you need anything at all you know who to come to, and if you wish to not use assistance that is perfectly fine as well. If you're not planning on starting up again, feel free to join us if you wish.
I know that some SeeDs are confused regarding this, and some are wondering why we are welcoming the Rebels. We are welcoming the Rebels because we will not judge an individual based on the intentions of an entire clan. Many Rebels are great people and were just looking for some rivalry with us. We had no problem with that, what we were fighting was the general negativity from a few which permeated some of the general goals of their clan. This was the conflict, and now that the conflict is no longer overshadowing their clan you can see who they really are.
Again, we are more than willing to help rebuild the Rebels and/or accept them in SeeD as members. We are just glad that the situation is over so both clans can see who the other really is.

CSpace is right... instead of being suspicious, we should be glad that the situation is Over. We should all know by now not to judge a book by its cover... i'm sure some members of the Rebels are great people. Personally, I would like to give them the oppurtunity to get to know me, and I would like to know more about them as well.
But still the fact remains, to each their own. One day everyone will be on the same page. At least i hope so...

CSPACE FOR PRESIDENT!! cspace, you'd be a great president of the united states! You'd see someone like binladen trying to kill all americans, and still treat other people of the muslim faith or from the middle east equally, and we wouldn't have half the problems we do. Once again, I am truely impressed with how well you led us, and how well you handled the situation, and I can confidently assume that you will continue to lead with the same attitude, for as long as this clan, and runescape, and ...well... you, exist. Welcome to the clan, all rebels that are now joining, and I look forward to having that many more friendly active members of this clan participate in the wonder, and bliss that is peaceful existance. |

Masey is FAR from stupid, but Final got me doing this.

I totally agree.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to refuse your offer. I have no intention of joining SeeD. It's not my type of clan. The only reason I joined was so I could post my last post. Please delete my character from your forums. I won't bother spamming and flaming your site. There's no use......

well, this is good news.
I hope any Rebels that do decide to join with us do so for the right reasons. We don't want any more trouble...

That's a shame, but thank you for your honesty.
Good luck whereever you go!
