Before you is a dusty man with long, tangled red hair, torn rags for clothing, and a rock in his left hand. He is pacing back and forth talking to himself frantically, much to the amusement of the rogues standing nearby.

"He is coming! What are we to do... He isn't going to get me, ha! I have the rock of immortality! Bah, fools. When he comes you all will be sorry! It's over! The ages will come to get you! Nothing will stop it! You're finished, but I am okay because I have the rock of immortality!"

- You look at the rock in his hand, and it is nothing but a dusty piece of granite that can be found anywhere in the desert. You sense absolutely no magical properties in it. -

Ark walks up to the insane man. "Hey, old man, whose coming?"

[Cspace]

"Who is coming? Why who isn't coming? Ha, it doesn't matter! You're all finished! He will return! They will return! Telanidor is finished! The world will be finished as well! But I have nothing to worry about because I have the mythical rock of immortality!"

"Telanidor? I've never heard of that before. What is it? And that rock isn't the rock of immortality. It's just a normal rock."

OOC: Telanidor is the name that some groups have given to the current "main continent". You may hear a few other names from others such as some elves, however this is the most common name during this age.

"Telanidor, this place, all around you. Ocean to ocean, plains to plains, ice to the mountains. It will consume you when they return. It will consume all of you! You think this is a normal rock but it will protect me! Ha! They cannot even touch me as long as I have the mythical rock of immortality!"

[Ferret Overlord]

Ferret Overlord simply stares on amused, beer in one hand, flaming ball of insanity in the other.

"Old man. You speak that "he" is coming...meaning singular, but, later, you say that "the ages will get you." Meaning plural. Is he the ages? Then it would be "them" not "he." Wouldn't it not? Also, it is commonly known that red haired people are witches. Perhaps you are an insane warlock seeking to fool travelers that you have the mythical rock of immortality when you do not. Or perhaps you are in denial, and you think you have the mythical rock of immortality when it is merely a normal rock that you found on the ground. However, if this is true and "he" is coming. Shouldn't you instruct us in the ways of defeating him? Or, if "he" cannot be defeated, maybe I should just take that rock from you and take your head off, in that order." Xinxion pauses to catch his breath. "There's also a remote possibility that you are a projection of the wizard in Frionia, as he has admitted to being able to project images in far away places...."

"How about I stab you to see if you're really immortal?"

"Let him answer my questions first Ark..Then you can stab him."

[Ferret Overlord]

"Heck, I don't care what he says", in which Ferret Overlord proceeds to lob his head off with her halberd. As the body falls to the ground, she returns to her beer.

"No no no! I am not immortal to you! The mythical rock of immortality allows me to live through the end but it cannot be taken. If any one of you all takes it from me it no longer grants immortality! Then it would just be a plain rock and they would get everyone... And I mean what I say! 'Ages', 'him', 'they'... I know what I'm saying and it is your problem if you don't understand!"

"Okay, I say we just kill him. So, this rock only works for you, eh? So, what's the point in living through the end if you are the only one that lives. Maybe you could split the rock in half and give it to someone and make it work for them?"

Fed up with the words of an insane man, Ark tries a different approach. "Look old man, give me a name or description. Maybe even a location of where I can find "him". I want to see how strong I really am."
