I've seen a moderator (Not naming names) who is always sarcasticly flaming, I even brought it to you in a PM and you dismissed it. See how we have no power at all, or how we don't steer SeeD at all. Name one PM when you've listened to my ideas without bringing up your own and 'I'm happy this way'.
And yes Grand One, I'm not afraid to tell people my point. (I dunno, I woke up in the mood to debate

OK i know that i am basicly a new kid on the block.. but it seems like what u guys really need.. is some representation
now.. CSpace.. i am sure that u have done a wonderful job with SeeD thus far.. and im sure that if u guys continue in this form u will do well in the future
but u cannot dismiss the fact that the SeeD clan is a dictatorship.. you cannot.. there may be many mods a few Smods.. but in the end you may be a nice one.. but u are a Dictator.. what u say goes.. u have the veto..
now what i have seen done very well for other online communities.. is a council..
a council that is voted or selected.. which ever your choice.. usually either 7 to 9 people always an odd number... and this council makes Clanwide desisions as a solid unit.. there would deffintly be dissagreements but in the end.. its 7 - 9 peoples experiances and common sence.. as apposed to 1.. plus it dose allow more people into the planning and working of SeeD and might allow for some changes for the better..
Think about it.. it might just be what the doctor ordered...

HAHA yeah XZ but the thing is.. that only one of us gets things done
but yeah i donno.. i guess u can always look past it or try and not think about it.. but an organizaion that is headed by one person... is a dictatorship..
dictionary.com states that the deffintion of a dictatorship is as follows
"Absolute or despotic control or power. " well CSpace.. unless i am wrong hah u have absolute power
aint it great
but yeah.. i think it would be good for the community if u let more of your members make larger desisions.. even if you keep your veto power.. make it more of a moderated council where u step in only if u absolutely have to.. but let others make some of the big decions.. and you might be suprised.. things might just turn out good

Bespetna: His grammar isn't that good, he doesn't express himself 100% the positive way. There was a huge topic about him. All the mods got upset and fighted over Bespetna. Didn't know so many guys fighted over another guy.... All someone had to do was talk to him from the start, not go behind his back to get him banned. The topic sounded like an auction, all I heard was numbers flying through the air (the number of days, weeks, and months to ban him) |
Wth? He was going to get banned because he has improper grammar and spelling? Or maybe it was because he made fun of cspace then apologized almost right after but almost everyone ignored that. No one even apologized to him for what they said.

Hah, you should see how many times I've tried to get a council installed, Blair. |
Your council was complicated.... You only need one council.

Actually, the last straw was when he asked for help to hack Battle.net. Since I was the one who made the thread, no one can honestly tell you otherwise.

So why did Base say that other stuff? If that was the only reason then I would understand, but if spelling improperly was a reason then that's just stupid.

I just want to share my opinion. First off, SeeD is not a democracy. In a democracy, we would be able to choose those who lead us. Cspace and the mods have all the power and say.
I have noticed that Cspace tries hard to hear what members think whether he likes it or not. With a clan this size, you can't do everything people want to do. This upsets some because they feel like they are unimportant.
As I said before, the mods can do anything they want to do. As long as the other mods just ignore the problems another makes, they can do anything.
This absolute power thing is what I've noticed as the roots of many problems.
This could be prevented if everyone would try to help.
Until then, problems will probably just keep happening.

Erm, to be honest, I doubt I have any real power...I can delete a post in the Runescape H&I and Inter-clan relations forum, and move it somewhere else, and warn you if I wanted..But no true power.... And, warning really does nothing, this has been said many times, and I'll say it again, warning is just so the member knows that he has done something wrong and should attempt to consider his actions more.

Us moderators can advise C'sp in the ever common case of him being absent from the happenings of his forum. We can also suggest moderators, stop conflicts, and lead the forums. Moderator is not a position in SeeD, but a forum position.
Also, moderators represent the people in a way. While Cspace can't get to know each person individually, the moderating staff knows a large amount of the members quite well. If a member needs something, they can tell a moderator friend, who can in turn send it to Cspace with a usually faster response.

How do we lead the forums and stop conflicts without being called "partial mods" and "power abusers."
Most of the time people moderators suggests banishments, not new moderators..
Oh, and...I sent Cspace a pm 3 (maybe 4 now) months ago, still no response.
