Around the horizon, you can see multiple pairs of shadowy eyes around the road... They appear to be black-cloaked men, hooded. You're sure there are others hidden amongst the desolate landscape. They look malicious, almost greatful to inflict pain... They won't let you through without a fight.

Terakuu trods along the path. He suddenly spots a pair of the shadowy eyes, and is instantly alert, he whips his sword out.

"Show yourself, evil fiends!" he roars. "Come and face your due justice!"

*Xinxion teleports to the king's side, then swiftly moves slightly away*

"I see circumstances have made us fight together, this is going to be a one time thing." Xinxion glares at the king, then raises his sword in a high guard against the figures.

Terakuu looks lightly at Xinxion.

"Possibly... possibly not."

Just then, five shadowy assassins seem to almost materialize out of thin air in front of the pair!

Terakuu smiles.

"Not all that cocky, are you? Maybe we should get Hanako on hand, though."

OOC: She's coming, I had to tell her how to revamp her stats.

"If you were smart enough, you'd know that you're the obvious choice to battle against these creatures. I'm merely doing the smart thing."

"You're still a coward." says Terakuu lightly.

The first assassin has begun to creep forward. Terakuu bends his knees, ready to attack. Suddenly the assassin springs at him! He gets ready to block a blow, but the assassin lands and redirects his attack at Xinxion! His dagger is outstretched, aiming for Xinxion's neck!

*Xinxion rolls backwards on the ground, aiming a kick for the assassain's gut.*

While Xinxion's move was successful, knocking the wind out of the assassin, his cut still had some effect, making a short cut through Xinxion's chest. It takes 100 DP, the cut still bleeding freely.

OOC: *glares at Hyper* How could I get sliced the in the chest while rolling backwards?

IC: *Xinxion breaths heavily, then lunges at the assassain with his sword, aiming for his chest.*

Hanako comes running up to the scene (OOC: with new updated stats! ) with her small silver dagger in hand.

The cut comes through, damaging the assassin.

Terakuu takes advantage of the assassin's current position, and heaves his sword at his head. The blade strikes, dealing major damage.

Still, the assassins are just getting started. Seeing the danger in Terakuu, three advance slowly towards him. The wounded lays on the ground, the final one rushing towards Xinxion.

"You call that a weapon? Hah!" Xinxion yells at Hanako.


*Xinxion stabs the wounded assassain, presumibly killing him.*

The wounded assassin now lays dead. Xinxion's stab finished him.

However, the assassin in front of him is now flying towards his head, and two others are now flying towards him from the side. (OOC: there are now 6 live ones that you know of, they all have the same stats. I'll give individual HP, DP, etc. when individual ones get wounded.)

Terakuu, seeing the danger, casts Sword of The Destined Hero! (EC=2000; Effect = Strength + 200 against Darkness: Places fear in the eyes of even the strongest dark fiends. Loses effect once the character leaves the region.)

His sword now shining, he quickly slices one of his assassin's head off. There are five now that you can see, three flying toward Xinxion, two still approaching Terakuu. Hanako is uncovered.
