Hi everyone--

I'm running short on cosmic runes and will need to make a run to collect more soon. Only problem is, I'm lvl 45 combat and the rune respawn is guarded by lvl 68 ice giants and lvl 57 ice warriors. I've done this several times before, but it takes soooo long when I have to make a dash to the altar after every attempt to grab my precious runes. The ice giants are rather aggressive, and come after me nearly every time I move in. I can't log once I am attacked, of course, and I thus have to retreat back to the altar to recharge each time.

So this is where you come in-- If a few of you would be willing to come train up there for an hour or so, I would really appreciate it. What I will need is just for someone to distract the giants while I run over to the rune respawn. Once there, I can start logging and picking up runes until I am attacked. I can then retreat, come back to the home world, and begin the process again. While I’m away, the rest of you can just train on ice warriors.

Last time I went collecting I managed to pick up 75 cosmics in about 2 hours. I was alone then, however, and had to worry about both the giants and pkers. If someone were to help me I'm sure I could at least double that rate and collect enough cosmics to keep me happy for a good while.

As a token of my appreciation, anyone who shows up will receive a ruby ammy or two— they’re the reason I’m doing all of this in the first place, so I think it’s only fitting.

I’m obliged to warn any of you less experienced players out there: if you can't take on a lvl 68 giant, please don't try. They've sent me back to Lumby more than a few times in the past.

Anyone willing to help, just post here. We can work out a time/date/place when we all can meet later.

[edit:] Serpentfight and I tried this this evening, and it worked quite well. More than one person is needed as a decoy, however. There are 3 giants, and each covers his territory well; it can be difficult to slip past even just 2 of them. I’ll need 2 blockers for absolute certain, but 3 or more would be the ideal.
