mmmmm... updates....

***YESSSS*** this means my forums will finally be mentioned!! I didn't know back in june that "in the next update" would mean "in early august"

lol, okay, just kiddin ya, oh master of curving stuff.

In the next update, you should change the site's color scheme, and have red and purple sheep everywhere! that way, you could have people saying "space really must be curved, if light's getting so dissorted that sheep are red and purple! I love that website!"

Then again, it would be a little risky, because people might say "cspace? I remember that guy. He was either senile, or colorblind."

he could be Both senile and colourblind..... and just not remember it.

but i would like to see some new medals, for things im not too sure about. like best random saying of the month, or something like that.
and also some free sunblock for the possible explosion. or lead clothes. should we climb into a hole with 4 years supply of food style of thing?

Regarding activity (just bringing it back up because something dawned on me) we don't really need to delete members to see how active we are or how we active we have been. If everyone would like I can post graphs of our daily, weekly, or monthly totals of posts, new threads, new registrations, and other aspects of activity. This can potentially go back quite far, and if you would truly like to see statistics involving our activity I can easily provide it. I can also provide similar statistics for the actual site (not just the forums), but that wouldn't tell much because we have a number of random visitors. It is just that nothing is lost by keeping members and little is gained if they are deleted (would be offset by potential problems), and if they are deleted we cannot recover them in any way.

Don't know about sheep

but a layout update will come later for sure. Probably a big one. As for the color scheme it will remain similar on the main site though a few changes may be made. Many entertainment/gaming/community sites are darker, while professional or company sites are generally lighter (trying to appeal to different audiences and have a different image). We used to have a white background a long time ago (Rylkan remembers this), nothing wrong with it and I am not going to base it on precedents set by other sites, however I don't really see a light CurvedSpace coming anytime soon.

However! I'll be glad to make multiple color schemes available for the forums when the new version is ready. I would do it now but the coding would become obsolete when I upgrade, so I'm waiting right now. When I get the chance to make the additional layouts, I plan to allow members to choose their ideal templates in their profiles (would apply your ideal layout to the forums for you when you are logged in). We will offer the default InvisionBoard layout as well as probably a blue, red, and green style (along with a revamped version of what we have now). Following that we will try to make orange (for you OM

), purple, brownish, or anything else. Feel free to make suggestions regarding these.

a serius suggestion (and sorry for the double post)- a guide about spyware on the main page, and a link to it in the forums. im sure his mightyness cspace nows the danger of it, and i have attempted to make a guide to it in the technical support forum, but ti still needs alot of work, and i suggest peaple read it anyway though, but i really think that a detailed anti-spware guide is needed, as it is way too easy to get really dangerous stuff.

I won't have an automatically updating graph but I can easily pull them off the Admin CP (for the forums) or the server (for the site as a whole) and post them as screenshots. It isn't a new feature, I'd just be taking a screenshot of what is already available in the administrative area.

I'm not doing it unless everyone really wants to know. It isn't something that is generally shared openly, but if everyone just has a general interest I can state the numbers which relate to what they want to know. I am a little hesitant about sharing the graphs but I can share recent numbers if everyone wants to know them. I am not closed to ideas though, but deleting members is not in the cards for the near future.

ok, ill write a serius, well thought out one. im having my pc formatted soon (like, finsish this post and then we begin soon) because i have blaze

but itll take me a while because im going to be reserching everything about spyware. not through trial and error

oh, and ill be requesting peaples help with it and stuff.... what with it being my ffirst ever guide.....
