Over the last few days Microsoft has released several new Critical Updates. I know there is at least one for IE6, and two for Win98. I don't know the details, but I figure if they're releasing a security update after they publically announced they won't give support to Win98 users anymore, it's probably worth downloading.

So... if you have any Microsoft products on your system (Windows or Internet Explorer, mainly), go ahead and run Windows Update. Security fixes are always a good thing thumb.gif

Agreed, chances are it's serious if they make the effort to update fairly outdated software. I'd advise everyone to take a look at it, just in case.

Downloading the IE one now, already 20% after one minute, will be quick biglaugh.gif

@Head - Lol, Longhorn has been out for four months+ on the warez site I visit, alpha stage though bluetongue.gif

I don't tend to want to get that, as it may be implementing Microsoft's new protection which literally stops you playing mp3's you've downloaded, or burnt games or cd's... eek7.gif

Whenever new technology comes along, it's almost always followed by technology to thrwart it. Fear not bluetongue.gif

Big- Sorry, my mistake, actually PC Todays mistake, they said it wouldn't be out until early 2006, they might be referring to the "Officially Done" version of it though.
