Pixie...My darling kitty, is gone. She passed away a few days ago. sad.gif she was my perfect little kitty...she was a mommy to me. I do not know when I will stop crying...I was on vacation when it happened and it ruened the rest of the week. This is not in fact on rs if you hadent noticed and I am deeply scarred. Please...Much support is needed.

I thought that I would give you a breif history on my kitty cats.

Cato: was an abused cat when my mother took him in before I was born. He was never really cuddly, but he cared and loved us very much. He died when I was 9.
(his name is pronounced "kate-o" lol)

Bob: was picked up from a cat house (sort of like a pound...but the cats live in somebody's house) with Pixie. He was very cute, black and white with a spotted nose. He died of a seizure 3 days after we adopted him.

Samson: was adopted from a cat house- like bob- and was brought to live with our family, and Pixie. He was a very quirky kitty... And of course loving. Pixie did not feel this way about him though. She was happy to have a house all to herself so a war began. We had to give Samson back to the cat house.

Pixie: was adopted with Bob and immediatly loved our family. She slept on our beds every night and put up with our baby talking and infinite kisses and hugs.

Rest in peace. (exept for Samson TheSmile.gif )

I know how you feel. I lost my best cat (he was the best ever) at the beginning of the year.

sad.gif I have a cat, she's 18 years old, and she's probably the best pet I've ever had. Although she is getting really old, and she has to take pills once a day and such. sad.gif I can sorta relate to how you feel, since she's probably not going to last much longer. sad.gif

pets are hard to get over.

Years ago, my hamsters died. But they died when i wasn't there. And that, was one thing that will live with me forever. I'm sorry that you lost such a caring, affectionate part of your life, and I am even more sorry that you couldn't be there with her.

I remember one of my old cats, tom. He used to wake me up every morning at seven o'clock. He'd walk with me down to breakfast, and watch me leave for school. Every day I'd get back from school, and he'd be there to greet me. He'd curl up on my chest at night so I couldn't get out of bed after bed time.

He was my dad, he took care of me. I know what it must feel like to lose an influence like that, and I do not beleive you will ever be at peace with the fact that even though she looked after you, you couldn't be there during her last moments.

Though you may never fully recover, you can always think of her presence in your life. When you are sad, remember that, even though she cannot be there, she is trying to comfort you.

Know that even though she may be dead, that doesn't mean an end to her, or to the love you shared. As long as you remember her, she will live. You can tell your children stories of your second mother, and she will live on.

If no one knows or recognises you, it is like you never existed. If you are remembered, you still are alive.

I hope that this helped, as it is hard for me to write about Tom. However, I only regret I couldn't do more.

Aww...Thank you everyone. You guys are really helping me. It's been really hard, but it's great to know that others...that barely know me...can help me get over it. I know I never truly will... But I'm not hurting quite so bad. Thank you.
