Oric climbs to the top of the side of the ship and flops over the side. It seems that when the ship started moving he was flung off the side.
"Whew! I made it!" he says. He pulls his bow off his back but does not draw an arrow. He sits down on the deck and pulls out a book and starts reading, every once in a while looking up at the rest of the people on the ship.

*You reach the ship and Harkin throws a ramp over the side with which those on the sinking ship can board. Some on the ship yell to get others' attentions directed toward the ship and there is a mad rush to board.

About five minutes later everyone was confirmed to be off the ship, right in time as the ship capsized (of course bluetongue.gif ). You look around at some of the... interesting... people who have just boarded the large Aderonian ship. Many humans and a few elves, though you also notice an unusually tall and pale person with large dark blue eyes, a creature slightly resembling a lycan in wolf form that you cannot quite distinguish, and a creature that looks like a blue-green human with long fins coming off his back like those of a fish. Then, something else catches your attention...

When you look down at where the ship sank (now completely under the water), you notice a strange yellow glow. Harkin also notices it and gets the attention of the fish-like person. The fish person jumps overboard and swims under the water toward the source of the glow.*

"Don't mind him, let's go back to the shore," Harkin says in an indifferent tone.

Salt water is most corrosive, and is death to these meer illusions of power. Besides, I am more powerful then any of these technological ninnies. "Bah, what's wrong with the youths of these parts nowadays..." Harkin says, almost smiling but still lacking emotion.

"That old Gorlok isn't deserting, he is frankly the only one here who can recover that blasted rock. I swear, some Corrorians are too obsessed with trying to wield magic or whatever. Just give me an ion cannon and I'll be fine, who needs to control nature anyway? I have yet to see a Corrorian with the capacity to even move an object with their mind without a neural amplifier, let alone wield the elements of this world..."

*He pauses for a second*

"Hey, we can either wait around for the Gorlok to come back to the ship or just go back home and let him swim back. He can easily do it, the Gorloks live in the sea. I don't know about you, but I hate riding in these old wooden boats and the sooner we're back on land the better."
