I have created a set of revised rules which could solve some of the fairness problems as well as prevent problems like what happened recently from being blown up in the future. Everything is basically the same except the flaming/harassment rules.

You can view the possibly revised rules here. If you're familiar with the old rules all you really need to read are the new flaming rules.

If we like this we can make these our rules and archive the old ones. We can then see where they go and change them later if they don't seem to work out.
