I know that he has spoken well before but I really don't see how it matters if he fakes bad spelling. Many take things too seriously, the best thing I can say is coolgleamA.gif chill coolgleamA.gif and let things be unless they actually hurt you.

Hmmm wasn't there a post in the emblem claim or something close to it that stated Tim is just faking? If this is true that's what is annoying me. screama.gif But still I don't believe people should jump down his throat but still IF Tim is faking he should stop.

Because being a mod isnt based on your post count. Its maturity and responsibility and all that sort of stuff.

A post count helps, as it means you've been around for a while and know a fair bit about the clan. But it's more your reputation around the place. If you have a reputation of being friendly to all, a helpful person, responsible, mature, active, etc. then you're more likely to be considered. What has been happening recently is that mods take a look around the forums for anyone they think would do a good job, and recommend them. Other mods agree or disagree, stating reasons why they'd be good or not so suitable. Final decision is up to Cspace though.

Ur Nitmare, if you look to the left a bit under your avatar there is a member group title. The regular one is Member, then there is Moderator, Super Moderator, Global Moderator, Administrator, and even some bonus ones to get if you're very active grnwink.gif . That's the easiest way to check what you and others are, just by reading that.

spit.gif Ahem... Firstly, you have little experience in SeeD, so you would have no ability to find out what topics to delete or not. I would list the rest, but my brain is too pushed. eek4.gif

And dont make posts asking to be a mod, or asking to buy a pot for 1gp... Here in America, we call that  spam.gif

Actually we call air sealed pork SPAM...

Tim, look at me, I'm not a mod, and I've been active for about 7 months. I have 1700 posts, yet I still enjoy myself. The point of SeeD isn't to have power, it's to have fun.

Oh, and to answer your question, Nitemare, the member (NOT PLURAL!) that has 4k posts was banned at one point, and I think he had done some things before that.

Posts really don't count. If you have 500 SENSIBLE posts, you have a chance of becoming a mod. But you must also show that you won't abuse your power, you'll be just as kind as everyone else should be, and you can be trusted.

That's all I know...

Actually if it comes to that, the member with over 4k posts actually was a moderator grnwink.gif

Global Mod is pretty much the same thing as Super Mod. They're a little higher, but there isn't much different in what they can do. TheSmile.gif
