Now let's see which are better once and for all. biglaugh.gif

I'm actually a bird person (I know, I'm different...), but, sorry to say, I would have to say dogs on this one. grnwink.gif

This won't decide which are better (especially since cats are better), just which more Seeds like. It's too bad I can't vote more than once to at least even things up sad.gif .

Dogs are (quite literally) stupid. I've never known a smart dog (and you can tell me about all the smart dogs you like but I will never change my mind). Cats can be stupid too, I admit (at least they're cute when they're stupid), but never like dogs (plus cats don't drool like dogs do (yuck)).

Actually cats can learn to do tricks too (makes them even more cute, and playing ball is cute too (except in dogs, who drool on the ball)). I've only taught my cat Cinnamon to sit (most useful to me), but I know people who have taught their cats more (hoop jumping, use of the toilet and other things).

But doing tricks doesn't prove anything, it's a form of conditioning where the animal learns that if he does something he'll get some sort of treat (and maybe he'll do it just because, which is kind of stupid). You can teach birds (although some birds are pretty smart anyway), rats, mice and even some fish tricks the same way.

You seem very stereotypical Zoo Newt.. not ALL dogs drool, mine doesn't.
I admit my dog can act like an idiot sometimes, but the flat nose helps her look cute and make her fun to watch.

My dog is quite smart, she doesn't always listen to us, but she's smart nontheless.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Actually dogs will eat rats too, so it's better to go with the superior animal, the cat.

KM, only with dogs bluetongue.gif . Every dog I've spent any time with does something disgusting, usually drooling. Then again, I do try to avoid contact with dogs biglaugh.gif (not that I can help it much as one lives in our house). I'm sure we'd see some sterotypicality against cats if the cat-(not lovers) cared to say anything.

Have to say cats TheSmile.gif *nyow*

Not going to go into cats/dogs eating whatever... because I know a bunch of dogs which eat VERY questionable things...
