Since I am unable to stay on top of every single situation (with everything else on the site and server consuming time), resulting in leniency whether intended or not, I have recently given SMods limited ability to suspend members and GMods the same ability as I had previously. I am trying my best to find solutions to the leniency complaints and hopefully this can work...

I was just wondering if you would agree since you would be the one affected by it.

Thanks a lot for your input TheSmile.gif

I'm fine with the GMods but not the Smods, because they can sometimes be as hasty to act without thought as any mod or member.

EDIT: Voted no.

Unfortunately, right now it is either both or neither until I get a custom modification on the forums. If any of the SMods abuse it I won't hesitate to remove their mod rights however.

I agree with Tick on that one. Though if they're aware that they can lose their Smod-ness, I'm pretty sure they'll think twice to make sure they're suspending for the right reason.

I voted yes.

Some people shouldn't be SMods, and will likely abuse this power, so, no, I am not fine with SMod and GMod suspensions.

I need to go null on this one, for two reasons. One: I am an S-Mod, meaning that my opinion most likely will be considered either biased, or not at all just because I am one. Two: It's really not for me to decide, as I am a person with the power.

Even then, however, I still find that it could go both ways. Most likely, it will be an improvement, allowing us to get certain judicial processes done faster. But there's always that slight chance that it can be abused, which is really the only reason to vote no.

If it is abused I guarantee that mod rights will change as a result. If a SMod obviously abuses it, he/she will promptly have his/her mod rights removed.

I'm fine with it, but I want to know, can super mods suspend super mods? (In past situations this would've been needed)

Obviously, yes, if mods can be suspended it does include all mods.
