wow, replies to my deadened topic... Addy can't be that bad can it? I was gonna by some for the express purpose of PKing. And if you've got full rune, some nice members 31 agility, and at least 37 prayer, you'll do alright against all the classes, like me!
Perfect Armour Or at least has good def in all.

Mehehe....3 words, studded. leather. armor. It's the cheapest of its kind (other than plain leather) And it's good against all three...I pked a mage during the merlin's crystal quest and scored a fire battlestaff from it

Ofcourse I'm not joking KC!...If I was joking I wouldn't be babbling on and on about how I did it....Back then I was freshly hacked and didn't have anything for range armor except that. I wore it with some mithril, ran out and some mage attacked me, his pathetic attempts didn't work as well as if I had rune armor. I cut him down and took his fire battlestaff. I even have it if you want to look at it. I assure you, it DID work. and as far as the robes go, yes, my rogue robes work very well against magic....A little frail against range and crush, but it's fair on the others...Not like it'll help much, but it's light weight so I like it.

*Sigh* Studded leather armour? I believe your story but I wouldn't touch that stuff with a fifty foot pole. The armour I pk with is rune chain, rune large, rune legs, rune kite, rune scimitar and dragonhide vambraces + diamond ammy.

Hmph... the most effective armor there is would be Dragonhide, a fair well balanced defense for everything, although shouldn't be used if the wearer is using magic, since it goes negative on the magic bonus.
+40 Stab
+32 Slash
+45 Crush
+20 Magic
+40 Range
Fairly well balanced defenses, and this is for green dragonhide. As for the attack, the magic is reduced -15 and ranging +15. I guess it's pretty well if you have a helmet to go along with it as well!
