The following are the changes to the main SeeD website (yellow are largest or most important):

- New source URL. We are no longer in the newseed/ directory, we are just in the seed/ directory now. If you used seed.cspacezone.com nothing has changed though. Update your bookmarks!

- The chat is working again! I had to convert over to a different server though, so some may have to register again.

- New Gallery section! Some select members will be able to upload event screenshots and other things for everyone to view... directly on the site! Other things such as wallpaper, other screenshots (such as DStorm when available), and even videos could become available in the future as well.

- The shoutbox is back and improved! Scrollbar makes things easy to navigate, auto-refresh keeps it up-to-date (like when you're on the chat it can be used without worry of signing off), registration of names is possible, and we are able to expand it past its current place! This means that smilies and tags could be added in the future.

- Basically all old content on the site was updated.

- Minor layout update. Little insignias on the linkbar, blue lined background on the linkbar, new header (please disregard the other two characters until the multi-game SeeD thing happens ), changed scrollbar color, and removed underlines from some links. Expect more layout changes in the future, and expect something like this to come to CurvedSpace soon.

- Added a few guides to the Guides section.

- Added a link to our highest levels (on the linkbar).

- Added two titles from suggestions: Venerable and Hero.

- Updated forum link.

- And other random little things here and there.

It isn't anything huge, a lot of little things. Some sections were very old and they are now up-to-date (there were even a couple references to the old member list which were being stated as current). Going through every page took quite a bit of time, and as crazy as it sounds, the shoutbox almost didn't happen (kept having to fix problems with it; took forever to get it back up). It is not to be confused with forum integration, however, which will be implemented at a later date (not a portal). The gallery was installed so certain members can organize screenshots of SeeD instead of just post them on the forums - as you can probably guess it'll likely be quite extensive as time goes on. The gallery, too, had its share of problems which had to be ironed out. The layout update is basically some tweaks to the old layout, expect a larger one in the future. As for the chat, that was just a minor little addition to replace a little bit of obsolete code.

Another thing that took time is getting the pages ready to take PHP. That was required for the shoutbox and some features planned for the future, you may notice that the pages are now .php4 instead of .htm. That consisted of little things here and there, but it had to be done to every single page that was still active.

Basically, now that these odds and ends were cleaned up, further updates are a lot more feasible. The potential for updates is also much greater, for now that the site itself is PHP-ready, forum integration and other things are physically possible.
