I'm not fazed either way by the two words. They don't offend me, and I do use them occasionally, but it's no mental strain to avoid using them either.

Inbox size seems fine to me, I probably should clear out of some old ones, I don't tend to delete any. bluetongue.gif

QUOTE(Baseballl @ Sep 25 2004, 09:45 PM)
I don't believe that "damn" should have been removed. Obviously it is for flaming purposes, very immature if you ask me. People are using lame excuses to cuss, "Oh, I have to say damn when I'm mad". I hate to give you a reality check, but no you don't (IE: GROW UP).

If this offends anyone because of religious preferences (I'm mildly offended, but I'm more worried for the younger SeeDs), I suggest the word be covered again so people aren't using the words like Hyper just did.

Essentially, both words really don't have much of an effect on me, hell the least. Oh, and by the way Base, I was just bringing up a little fun time grnwink.gif If the other person knows you don't mean it under any circumstances whatsoever, then it's okay.

As for the younger members of SeeD... Pardon me if I'm mistaken, but I think the youngest SeeDs here are 11-12. At that point, I believe they are mature enough to hear these words... At least in a bit of a rant. Used regularly, I grandly agree with you, but in the way that Cspace imposed they are supposed to be used, I believe it's fine.

I agree with base, but you can use a lot off words you want by just doing the bold on one of the letters, and we've got no reason to say damn, or dammit. Just say dang, or dangit.

1) 'Aye, I don't have a problem with it, it doesn't offend me as long as it isn't used harmingly against another SeeD. Since it is now removed, it is everyone's responsibility to use it responsibly TheSmile.gif But, if not, it can be edited again.
2) Nah, later on TheSmile.gif

I don't get it... If a word you are offended by is replaced by another word used in the exact same sense, shouldn't you be just as offended?

thumb.gif I suggested removing the word because it can just be a good vent word sometimes. No venting on SeeDs though, everyone knows that. grnwink.gif

Traver has a good point though, it's kind of weird bluetongue.gif .

Why is 'Dang' any less offensive than 'Damn', when Dang is so obviously just another way of saying the same thing? icon_sweatdrop.gif
