There are at least 20 types of rare item. Look on tip.it, there is an extensive post on it, in there. Getting the prices of all the rare items would take a few hours to work out, like I dont know the price of half a plain pizza, but it is a rare item.

The RSTK item database sucks. It needs a LOT of updating... so much it's almost not worth submitting updates to them. I use the price guide on RSC (www.runescapecommunity.com or www.zybez.com/community go to the Questions board, it's a sticky).

These should be called "extinct items" of whatever. A dragon medium is rare... but the game still creates new ones. Supposedly there are also half plain pizzas, but I've been playing since there were only Worlds 1-4 and I've never seen one. Neither have my friends who have played since the initial release. Other than that, these are the only items that the game no longer creates ("rare" or "extinct" items).
