i was sitting there, being bored fishing as usual and it occured to me that i want to go trawler fishing. then i had another thought, i could make it an event! so everyone who wants to join in here are the stats:

Day: Saturday
Date: 9th october
World: 6
Time: 21:00 GMT, 16:00 Eastern]
Meet: at the trawler boat general store, the closest one too it.

Everybody will be split into teams, the leak fillers, the net fixers and the bailers.

Each team will need different things.

Leaky fillers: tar, tar and tar. lots of tar. a full inventory.
Net fixers: lots of rope. about 20 each, a little extrreme but it works.
Bailers: a bucket, and either tar or some ropes, depending on what else it is you want to do.

ALL TEAMS will need some buckets to bail water when they dont need to fill leaks, or fix ropes, just so we dont drown a horrible horrible death. nonono2.gif eek4.gif

i think all equipment can be bought from the stores near there, and i know rope can, so bring about 5k along too, that should cover it all and then some. thumb.gif

hope ta see you there! thumb.gif

Rope fixers:
1)zoo newt

Bailers:
1) me

Hole fillers:
1) zoo newt
2) me

Sounds like fun. I've been before (we failed horribly) so I already know I'm good at net fixing (and not leak fixing), so I'd like to do that. Plus I've been saving (read: buying bluetongue.gif ) rope in case anyone had a trawler event.

I have 100 tars I'll make into paste for the leak fillers (but they're going to need more eek4.gif ). If I recall correctly paste is stackable, but I'll check that.

I guess the fisherman is doing the fishing. I know there's supposed to be fish at the end if you don't sink.

(I don't know if we're going to make multiple trips, but if so I won't be able to stay very long as I have a tour that night.)

edit: swamp paste does stack. It can be bought or you can make it by collecting tar from Lumbridge swamp, mixing it with flour and heating it on a fire. Best done, once you've completed it, in the murder mystery kitchen.

edit 2: Never mind the bit about the tour, they cancelled it. Part of the package involves sleeping in tents at the zoo, which is currently living up to its swamp reputation because of the recent hurricanes.

sorry you cant come star, enjoy your school stuff. thanks for the pinnage too.

and its the nets that collect the fish then you get what you cought at the end of it all.

i added a list of who will do what.

Update: changed day to sunday as its interfering with the scavanger hunt, will change back if its not convenient for everyone.
