Maybe you should tell everyone that translations for the first couple so that they'll understand it better.

Grand one was walking through the busteling varrok market towards the dancing donkey inn when he sawe the short gnome. This was rare so far west so he decided to look closer.
"Strange gnome tourists dont seem to exist, ah well saradomin works in mysterious ways"
Grand one walked over to the gnome
"Greetings westerling what brings you here"
Seeing the gnome puzzled look he tried ancient gnomish.
"(TRANSLATED) Oh western one why is it that you come many beats of the crows wing from your tree"

1a: then write in gnomish.
2a: the whole point is the gnome cannot speak english fairly, and you guys dont speak tree gnomish fairly. it doesnt work right if you tell everyone the translation when they dont know it in the first place! bah 2 u... lol. he can only speak very good tree gnome, PL barely and english barely.

I tall figure enters in a tatered cloak of ancient and noble origin yet faded by the drab paintbrush of iron-fisted years. The nameless strranger reaches beneath this garb to finger the hilts of his fathers sword; his fingers reassured by the strength of enchanted steel. His hood-covered eyes search the seen as leaves begin to rustle at the feet of the villagers occupining our mysterious scene. Not likeing the sents of the air and the tree nome in the square our wandering stranger finds himself a shadow in the markets square from which to watch the scene develop.

Or tall cloaked stranger steps out of the shadows now that watching eyes have left the scene. Brushing a long lock of silver hair behind one ear he steps forward.
