In my opinion and in order to get things happening, we should have members to do the following:

- Provide for the presentation of SeeD. Basically making the place friendly and welcoming new members. Even a welcome PM would not hurt anything.

- Conduct promotional threads on other boards. We cannot just post threads, we need to watch them and answer questions as long as they are alive... And keep them alive if possible without "bump" replies.

- Be promotional advisors for events. Any event can have promotional implications, and in certain applicable events making one public is sometimes all it takes to get the notice required for some to join. You probably will not get physically stronger members through this (for those who would be concerned), but the members who stay the longest would not be those who are powerful to begin with... And remember, players do get stronger.

Anything anyone can do would be great, if we can get promoting once again we will become active again in very little time.

Yep, we definitely need more promotion. Anyone can make a difference in this area. And please don't give up just because your very first post is ignored or it doesn't work out. Not giving up is the key to good recruiting. (I think...meh. )

I wish I had time myself to help promote SeeD and recruit new people, but now I'm down to the point of getting on less than once a week. :\

BTW, for a "loophole" on that advertisement rule in RuneScape, just tell them to type in "CurvedSpace" or "SeeD" in Google.

Nah, those are just very populated forums, so it usually depends on when you post it (when certain people that are on will view it and hopefully respond ). Just keep with it, even just a few new recruits is very helpful.

Things fluctuate. At times it seems that everyone is making a new clan, and at times everyone is joining. There is unfortunately no way to tell when this would be (or when it's balanced), however if so many are starting new clans, soon there will probably be a ton looking to join.

Another potential factor was that we weren't all that... presentable... during the past few days. That's changing and would be a plus in the near future.

I just went to Runescape Community and copied your well written post into a post on RSC. Hopefully some members will come in from there.

P.S. Maybe someone could make like an official SeeD signature for other forums to help promote.

A good idea, though we've already pondered about something like that. Sub-Clans might make it a bit too... branched off, kind of almost seperate from the clan itself. Earlier in our existance, I recall X Zolon proposing a guild idea, very detailed and well thought-out. I can't quite recall exactly how far it went, but we could refer to that, give it a bit of modern revamping, and have a variation of your idea ready to go
