If You Were President

Your views can be as crazy as you want, just justify them in some way by presenting a valid reason.
I'll start:
-------
If I were president, I would:
Get rid of the national debt completely by cutting entitlements completely
- Completely get rid of welfare. The country itself is a bajillion dollars in debt, do we have the money to be devoting ridiculous amounts of the budget to people that aren't willing to work for it? No.
- Ditto for Social Security. Frankly, if old people haven't saved up enough money for retirement until the age of 90, they don't need to.
I'll think of more later. You don't need to use mine as an example, as your proposals can be as rational or insane as you want them to be. Just provide an explanation for them.
I bow to the supreme wrath of Lord Crescens.

Work for more of the peoples rights. The people will have the first voice over the government. I would also send more troops in Afganistan because i'm sure Osama is more dangerous than anything else in the world. We need to find him or another terrorist attack Could happen. Also if I were president i would put slots in every horse racing track in the world.

If i were president i would.
Make sure we were the best country in the world. because if we arent than the country that is better than us can take advantage of that and destroy us.
Also If i were president i would
Make sure that liberals will be prosecuted because of their belifs. They know their belifs are wrong and they follow them anyway. They belive in a stronger government and more like Comunisim.
And lastly if i were president i would
Make sure everyone in the country had the privelage of equal rights and try and follow the constitution more because we wrote it, why not follow the laws that our forefathers wrote! Thanks thats all i have to say.o yah this is if i were president lol i dont really belive in this stuff lol im only 13

- Never make empty promises, especially during my campaign. Many to most presidents do that, and the public virtually always forgives them. Total crap.
- Slightly, ever so slightly, lower the funding for Iraq. As great of a cause as it is, I still believe we're putting just a bit too much effort into rebuilding this foreign country.
- Take a bit off of technological research and put it into medical research. While technology is nice, makes things convenient, etc., medicine is what keeps us going, and the advancement of the medical field will do naught but expand our time here on Earth.
- Do things for my country, not just to make myself look good. While a president would need support, yes, that support can come from great acts of righteousness, and this is what I would propose. While I would keep a good eye on the American budget, I would do much for the public, as opposed to the well-being of the Presidency.
That's just a few things to name, and a lot more would be on that list. Stills

-Make it so pleading insanity is no longer valid. People exploit it (I was using anphedamines (sp) and went into a "Drug Induced Psychosis", there, thats my justification to kill a ton of people).
-Get rid of elections. Stupid people vote (not everyone who votes is stupid though...), and thats why stupid people are elected.
Prolly will think of more.
Note that I'm not from the USA.

And-
If I were president, I would-
-Spend time figuring out better ways of making money from the people than taxes. It would make people feel as if they weren't paying as much, even though they would be.

-Raise technology/medical expenses, especially towards the b-4 (or something like that)
diseases. If they got loose, oh god... Think about what would happen. It would be like the bubonic plague, only instant death. No vaccines... EEP!
-Eliminate the food problems by making whoever has over a set amount of money (maybe house cost, maybe car cost...etc.) pay an extra tax for food for the poor.

Maybe you, as a 13 year old, don't understand some things about the government. My first point being that your statement is very contradicting. You can't have equal rights and prosecute Liberals like myself.
As for following the Constitution, did you know that Democrats wrote and signed it? So we should follow their beliefs, but prosecute people who follow it? Also, Democracy isn't communism, please explain how a strong government is communism, or maybe you should look up the definition.
Also, explain how Democratic beliefs are wrong. Is taking away the tax cut on the wealthy wrong?? I think not. Why give tax cuts to the people that already have more money than they know what to do with? How about we help out the middle and lower class, and put the taxes back on the wealthy. That will remove our debt both to ourselves and France.
Why remove welfare? How about we change it. Some people need welfare because they aren't able to work. Welfare, however SHOULD NOT be given to those who are too lazy to work.

Technically, the Democratic party didn't exist yet. Yes, the Federalist party was mostly the same (though more centrist than many modern democrats). Just saying for the record.
The tax cuts were given primarily to small businesses, and have helped the country get back on its feet and give more people jobs. I also have a fundamental difference of beliefs with you on your beliefs regarding taxes. Just because one person has more money than another, does that give the government the right to take a higher percentage of income from the wealthy than from the poor? I, for one, support a flat tax, and feel that economic equity rather than equality is a communist/socialist/Marxist idea that does not have a place in a capitalist society.
I agree with you entirely - those entirely incapable of getting jobs due to disabilities should be entitled to some compensation. Those, however, represent a small minority of people on welfare.

1. Change Welfare so my hard earned money doesn't go to someone sitting on their fat, lazy *** (self-edited). Also, make people pay back the money they used while on welfare.
2. Social security will be the death of us all should it continue. We kids pay a ****-load of money to all these old people. I believe everyone should save up their own money rather than take mine. Another horible thing is that immigrants are eligible to recieve all the benefits, though they may have not even put a cent in. Social Security can NOT possibly exist in the future.
3. A flat tax would be fair, but would keep people below the poverty line. I believe taxes should be as close to flat as possible, but only to promote economic growth for the underclass, while not very much so harming the upper class. Eventually, this should be made flat.
4. Affirmative Actions is PURE racism, blacks don't seem to care because this time it benefits them...
5. I say the government can ban gay marrige, but have no right to deny a gay couple all rights and privliages granted to married coupls. As marrige is a religious institution, whatever the prevailing religion says goes, but the government cannot deny equal rights.
6. The ability for anyone to hold office and for anyone to vote is what makes this country great. It also makes it suck, because you got absolut idiots holding office and voting.
7. Cloning kicks ***, nuclear power kicks ***, advanced defense technology kicks ***, and calling war techology defense technology blows.
8. Abortion is wrong. Killing babies before they are born is horrible. Once they are alive, however, they are fair game.
