This is a wierd, yet fun event.. basically, for one day, one person every month is picked by a council decided by Cspace to lead SeeD in Runescape for 24 hours starting when and on whatever day they want. This ruler has complete control over every SeeD... every single SeeD must drop what they are doing and tend to the ruler's every wim. The only thing the ruler can't make people do is hand over money, items, or random possessions. However, the ruler can make the SeeDs mine for him/her, fish, gather a certain item.. etcetera. The SeeDs must do this with 110% efficiency.. no breaks (unless the ruler says so)

However, this is supposed to be a fun day, so play around with it!


On a side note.. I still want 2 things to happen...

Hmmm I am almost scared to answer this topic so I will therefore just answer then run away. Anyway idea seems a bit odd but I'd like to be the ruler but I don't get why every SeeD would HAVE to do it. It just sounds kind of childish the one random SeeD is about to get 60 magic and do the question and yet oh no he/she has to do some bidding like mining or whatever just because he/she is the miner is SeeD. So it just seems a bit irrating well at least it would be if you were doing that, at that current time, then again I guess you could explain but still it just doesn't make sense because the "ruler" could then go around and order even more. And what if the person doesn't do it then do they get thrown out of SeeD? Just a question and all just wondering. Anyway yeah wanted to use this one because I just saw it so...

While it is an interesting idea, nobody can be or will be forced against their will to do things if they choose not to. We can't force people to do tasks for us, or force them to stay on runescape. And it'd be pretty bad if somebody got greedy and did try to get everybody online to work for them against their wills, arguments would arise.

The idea might still work and be fun, but it can't work quite like you've suggested.

Hmm.. I thought about it a bit, and maybe something a little different would work better. What about some kind of 'Officer of the Month' thing, where the chosen person gets some sort of custom rank, avatar, sig or something for that time period. Then the next month a new one is chosen. That way nobody is forced to do anything, but the basic idea is still intact.

It seems more as if Cspace would designate the leader of a big event, who would then guide the members to do things such as wildy pking, hide and go seek, etc. A "ruler in Runescape" might be implying a bit... much, but a monthly event leader just might work!

Well, the motive behind this event is a skill building event...
Help out a member of the clan for a day.
The ruler thing was just to add some roleplay-ishness.
I was tired when I wrote this.. so shoot me.
I've decided this would be better if it was a random draw, and it was 2 people a month...

I never said anything about forcing them to be on runescape though....

Anyway, it's just here to better random people's skills in a clan. Basically, a skill building day.

The example I'm looking at is a way to build everyone's mining skills...

FIrst of all, all SeeDs would build mining skills getting coal, iron, or even mithril. Then, the person who is the person for the day gets to smelt all the ore, then they could make them into random things...
example.

1: SeeDs -> Mining -> Person -> Smelts ores -> Makes arrowheads (See 4)
2: SeeDs -> Woodcutting -> Person -> Fletches into Arrows, and bows (See 4)
3: SeeDs -> Killing Chickens -> Person -> Adds feathers into arrows (see 4)
4: Person -> makes arrows + arrowheads into arrows (See 6)
5: SeeDs -> Make bowstrings -> Person -> Strings Bows (see 6)
6: Person -> Hands out arrows and Bows -> Everyone hass fun ranging

So.. SeeDs work: Mining, Woodcutting, and Combat (ranging, basic combat skills)
and the person works Smithing, And fletching.
Then, everyoen can go Pking and earn some cash, anything extra can be sold and handed out to everybody.

Sounds good to me...but I don't believe mods can alter post count...S-mods and up maybe...but not normal mods...I dunno.

Sounded quite a bit to me like that was forcing them to be on Runescape.

I like the idea of SeeDs helping each other out in these sort of group things, but it should not be forced upon them. It should be upt o each person whether they want to help or not, SeeD has always been a clan in which nobody can force the members to do things for them, I think that has worked well for us.
