i recently re-played it and i do believe it is a single hero drink. you also win one when you finish the battle.

MoS is right, it's a Hero. In the earlier battle you win a Speed-J scroll, but the final one on disc 2 gives you a Hero.

The one that makes the entire party invincible is called Holy War, but I can't remember honestly getting it during the game at any point in my last file.
