I cant seem ta' get past the space pirate boss, who sends out random minions . I know I can shoot him when he gos invisable. but what type of fire works best on him? and any one have any tips that can help me(like how to avoid those missles he shoots occastionaly)....I cant buy the new game with out closure

Hmm.. It has been absolutely Ages since i Played Metroid Prime (Bought + Beaten pretty soon after it came out )

Whats it say when you scan it?

I remember one called the Omega Pirate.. that was a tough fight... thats the one with plates which ya have to shoot. I think it was this battle where gets his 'minions ' - just shoot those with the beam you need.. White = ice, purple with wave etc.

Id probably suggest using missles/super missles... Geez. i loved those

And probably use plasma beam.. i think youd have that by now

yeah I have the intandum moves...ive actual got him to nearly dead(I think)... never did think to scan him though...my biggest brobleme is sticky around for the whole fight. He always gets me with those missles he shoots from his shoulders is there any way to definately avoid those cuase they really knock my health down quick.

Do ya know about locking on, and then jumping to the side?

Thats quite a nifty way to dodge attacks like that
