After careful studying and many (actually one bluetongue.gif) test, I have found out that lieing/misleading is a much more better persuasion than bribing (unless you're uber rich and you want to bribe for more then the cost of not bribing...).

So, if you ever want to persuade some, lie bluetongue.gif

I, for one, believe that intimidation is the sharpest cleaver in the kitchen. Use it to your advantage.

I'll agree with Viet, as unlike bribery if you mislead somebody they can't change their mind and stab you in the back later. Same with intimidation, if they happen to grow a backbone you're in trouble.

Personally, I tell the truth. However I first build up a reputation of lying. The truth is the most effective lie if people won't believe you, because you can't get caught out in the details, you can use acting to try and seem a little guilty, and if it ever blows up in your face then you were telling the truth all along.

Oh, and... I didn't just make this all up, and I am misleading you all right now. ShiftyEyes_anim.gif
