Ruckus posted the poll.

KC changed the poll to put a large number in the negative vote.

Ruckus retaliated.

KC retaliated with a sarcastic image in an attempt at escalating the situation.

Star Jedi ended the situation.

... Now if I'm not mistaken KC did this on his own, unprovoked, for his own reasons. What they are I do not know, nor will I ask. I do know that his intentions were negative and very much seemed to be done in an attempt to get Ruckus angry by creating a situation and escalating it until it was handled, then to either make a point or get Ruckus in trouble.

What Ruckus did was not right, but neither is what KC did. Two wrongs don't make a right. What holds more water are the intentions on both sides, the circumstances, and the negativity involved.

It was not a mutual flamefest or anything, one created the situation and the other responded with his comment, which was then countered by the one who started it with another blatantly negative reply.

Something KC knows is that Ruckus would likely retaliate so he went out of his way to get it to happen... Knowing that if he did retaliate KC could make arguments such as these to either come down on the mod team or bring down Ruckus, he went ahead with altering the poll (which alone is enough to usually warrant the removal of mod powers).

Taking into account the use of mod powers to harass a member as well as the repeated incidents of flaming and/or insults in the past, I am removing KC's mod powers as of this post. A warning regarding future extensive action will then be sent to him.

I will then contact Ruckus about the matter.
