The aliens described were significantly smaller than humans, but took on a huminoid shape. They have large heads in comparison, and have huge, round black eyes.

Well, there's no proof in the public about these claims, but if they're true and Einstein is correct...

Don't you think that those descriptions are too human-like? We are unable to create concepts of lifeforms without basis in something on Earth, unfortunately it is extremely difficult to create a true realistic alien.

- Basically everyone in Star Wars: Resemble humans, some combined with other creatures.

- The "Alien": Resembles a human and a fish.

- The Blob: An amoeba (or lump of silly putty )

- E.T.: Resembles a human.

- ... And the list goes on.

Now, say that birds did not exist on Earth. There have never been birds nor feathered animals here. Would a bird ever appear in someone's imagination? Will a movie ever be made about homicidal birds invading the Earth? I would bet 100 million dollars that no birds would ever be imagined.

... Now going back a bit more, if total evolution is true (don't wish to change the topic, just a big "if")... Birds are similar to many things here. Two eyes, same senses, same instincts, and even many of the same bones (just different proportions). Go back a bit more. You have fish with no bones. Still fairly similar in ways. Go back even more. All the way back to the bacteria which could be the beginning. It is here that these "similar" lifeforms would have appeared (again, if total evolution is true). Now, where else could these cells have gone? We would never know until we see something else that is carbon-based or develop some new technology. Go back even more... What if non-carbon-based life can exist? Maybe silicon? How would that affect life? What if carbon-based life does not require DNA?

From the above I will speculate that alien life will not be bipedal, two-eyed lifeforms resembling humans in form (even having a head or limbs). For all we know they could have wheels or something else to move around. What if they float and move by swallowing air? This can go on forever.

HOWEVER....

If those claims are true, I would suggest something completely different than alien life (and not the impossible expansion of the head, hehe ).

What if the "aliens" are us? This is where Einstein comes in.

According to Einstein, the closer to the speed of light you go, the faster you move through time relative to everyone around you. Now, when you exceed the speed of light from someone else's perspective, you will physically disappear from their view (not due to the speed, but physically not exist). What really happens? Time rewinds for the traveller. (not going to explain it now, may later)

So yes, if these claims are true, I am suggesting that they are us from another time period

What civilization in their right mind would come from a star potentially thousands of light years away and just watch a planet for thousands of years?

Yes, there are questionable paintings from history with disk-shaped objects in the sky. Could be anything, but they do look strangely close to the modern UFO sightings (this was the basis of my UFO post which didn't really go anywhere). They are also from different cultures and comparatively the disks look awfully similar. These supposedly go back before Egypt.

So, who would just sit there in the sky and watch? Who would react to situations but never interact with them? Could it be an experiment? On what are they experimenting if they don't do anything?

If you were not experimenting and were from a distant world, wouldn't you want to interact once it is deemed safe?

Curiosity is required for technology, and if a species has the technology to get here, they would probably want to do more than just watch.

... That is, unless time travel is involved! Who would want to see history actually happen? Anyone! Who would want to alter this history and endanger their own present? No one!

So what does this mean? If it's someone from the future, they would watch and nothing more. They would exist throughout our history from our perspective, but really just be bouncing around. Einstein has been correct so far, and if he remains correct I am confident that this technology will emerge sometime if we last that long (and there will be the genetic engineering to alter our appearance to be short big-headed people). If the technology does emerge, we could see the effects first-hand if we look for them today (according to a few theories). If we could, where are the travellers?

Okay...I know the last post was over a month ago, and noone will probably see this for that much more time lol. But here is what I think

-Strange metalic stuff: Mylar(nasa quality), is alot like that. also alot of people seem to have forgoten that it was attached to balsa wood. doesn't sound like advanced alien technology to me, unless they know something about balsa wood we don't, or are earth freindly or something . And hey, there are strange hyrogliphs along the frame work(purple ones)...and hate to dissapoint,but it was a scotch tape patern, traced back to that very company "scotch"....has any one read the blue book report, or any other government releases? guess not.

-the cover up: they were not protecting project mogul...and I bet most don't even know who "they" is. They=C.I.A, plain and simple, the initial press release, and retraction, and apearance of secrecy was set up by the C.I.A to get the public thinking Aliens, in order to cover up the B-2 testing, and testing and development of other spy planes and bombers.

-The bodies: heres my idea...apes. How long has the government been using chimps and the likes to do the dirty work as far as high orbit things are consenrd, huh? yeah, thats rite, and it explains the huminiod, disproportionate bodies that were deviod of hair with grey skin(burns from the heat of what ever happend high up there).

Now there is no dought that they were doing something, alien like in my mind. but that incident outside roswell had nothing to do with it...look, they declasified all remaining documents, form, time cards, logs, and even the evidence back in 2001(it is now open to the public), oddly enough the same year they moved what ever top secret stuff the were doing in roswell to white sands, Utah.

As for weather or not I believe in life out there somewhere....well our planet is what something billion years old (3 I think, but im not sure), with life forms that lasted over 10 times as long as we have so far (about 60,000 years for us rite?). and somehow we are the only intelegance that arose out of it? I dought it, for all we know "Aliens" could be just checking in on they're ancestrial home. And the eveidence of they're civilisation and intellegence could be at the bottom of the ocean some where. You cant expect us to dig up less than 1 percent of the earth(that is not coverd with ocean), and honestly say that we are the only intelligent beings to ever climb the evilutionary ladder on this planet.

And If the drakes equation is rite(we only need to find a definite fossill of life on another world, no matter how tiny to prove it), then there is about 5,000 intelligent civilizations within our galaxy. heck we all ready know that some funges spores are light enough to make it into space and can lie dormant under the conditions of space, for 500-10,000 years(depending on the type), so our planet could have already seeded life on another.

Our, concept of what Aliens look like should be based on only a few things. the first should be gas breathing, as any intellegent life has to make fire sometime to further them selves and ya cant do that under water very well, lol.
the second should be erect posture, cuase you need that to survey and take in an inviroment better and thus learn more about your surrounding (that comes with predatorial like eyes), and meat in the diet, the proteine is what improves smarts. other then that dont limit your imagination, on what they would look like(exept for insectasiod, as there are many flaws in the design that make insects not likely to get big enough to become very smart--like taking in air directly and not breathing it, this stops working after getting so big...or the compound eye, not the best for something intellegent).
