QUOTE
The Lighthouse protecting unwary ships from Kandarin's hazardous North-western coastline has recently ceased to function, and the Council have become very concerned about the potential hazard to shipping that may result from this.
The Council would therefore like any adventurers passing by the area to investigate the lighthouse and discover what has happened to the lighthouse keeper Jossik.
Local rumours of a mysterious Horror From The Deep can probably be ignored, as The Council would like to assure its citizens that there is no such thing as sea monsters.

It isn't, you get new prayer books which give you +5 prayer. They go in shield spot, but they're incomplete. You can get prayer pages with level 3 clues which make the book far stronger.
And now we have the quote of the day, from greenl2l: PLONGED!!!

'Nother noob quest, the mother was easy, yet I had about 3 attacking me at the same time sad.gif 2 ranging 1 meleeing me. It all depends on what color the mother changes: Redish, Fire spells. Bluish, Water spells. Brownish, Earth spells, White, Airspells. And if it turns yellow, Melee it.

Easy, other than I had to eat a lot more since the quest is still buggy and lets more than the one you are supposed to kill attack you, and it says you are in a multi-zone, and half the time the other 2 were ranging me, I couldn't attack the one I was supposed to since it said I was already fighting...

Yea my range level of 20 stopped me from doing good on that quest...

Yea there is a couple of glitches, when I was jumping from pillar to pillar I found one. I jumped from one to the next one but just as I was about to land, I suddenly appeared in the middle of Ardougne for a half a second before reappearing back on the next pillar.

It was weird...

I'll do the quest tonight and this time I'll bring more death runes, wear monk's robes, and not bring my Saradomin and Black Cavalier...

Congrats on everyone who beat it the first time (I teled out.)

It was a weird quest, but I finished it, gained a rangy level bluetongue.gif Mother was quite annoying, I must say... Every spell I threw at it didn't work, I hit 2 at it with arrows. Essentially, my strategy: Wait for it to turn light brown and hit with the dragon halberd while using protect from melee the whole time bluetongue.gif Stupid, but it worked.
