I joined and registered, but every time I try to download MSSetup it comes up corrupted... Any ideas?? Oh, and one more thing. I hear that all the characters get deleted after a week. Is this true??

Faction Names:
Obviously some games with clan support will not permit "SeeD" as a name.  In other games such as Final Fantasy XI anything relating to SeeD will be obviously out of context and may cause issues.  For these reasons, we have some set names for you to use.  You must use an official name for continuity's sake, but I'll try to provide a lot from which to choose (more will be added later).

- SeeD (obviously) 
- Any Garden name on the member list.
- Legion of Aderon
- Knights of Valronia
- Shral Valeron
- The Corrorian Guard
- The Corrorians
- Guardians of Frionia
- CurvedSpace
- Defenestrators 
- Gunblade
- Garden
- Galbadia
- The Galbadian Legion

(and the above can be used more than once - they will be attached to the game and/or server name on the forums)

Seems like we have our first faction, hehe. For those who wish to read about them before the update on the site, please click here.

Remember, anyone can create a faction in another game. Also remember, we don't need to rely completely on our current members to form the factions. Not to mention, if we don't the factions are going to be really small in most games since we don't play everything, hehe. It is up to the faction leaders and members to organize some method of recruitment if they wish to be of a decent size.

No matter though, just pointing out a few things since they are kinda embedded in that goliath of a post. This is the first faction in SeeD anyway, let's see where you take it.

Since it's fairly unlikely to be used somewhere else in MS, maybe we should just keep the name for the Maplestory Faction as 'SeeD'. Gunblade sounds cool too, but I think the 'factions' idea will work better if as many parts as possible share a common name, it helps us to appear more unified.

Bigbro says we might have a vote to decide on our leader, if we do then I don't want to be it, but wouldn't mind some sort of position a little lower down, to help out with managerial things. Ideally second-in-command, but there might be some competition for that, so I'm not going to insist on it.
