I recently posted in Zolon's topic in the Media forum about Eminem's new album Encore. I've checked back later to see that my post and Bigbro's were deleted, I'm not angry I just wanted to know who deleted and why?

Leftyy's post.. generally "Eminem sucks" and the following "I'm with stupid" posts, were generally.. SPAM. There was no need. I was aksing if anyone picked it up. So.. naurally, a group of people came in and said.. it sucks. I didn't ask for your opinion, and if I was allowed to voice my opinion on this forum, I'd chew you out right now. Anyway, to be fair, I took off any derogatory post, and chopped them into DA.
I'm about to do it again, you have my reason, nobody second-guess me or return the posts. I don't want another conflict over a couple of Spam posts.

You've posted a crap load of spam and posts not even related to the topics, I should be allowed to share my opinion, not to be deleted, why bother posting your opinion when It gets deleted?

Look, Zolon, they may have been a little spammish, but you've got to stop being so uptight about everything. Mod rights aren't there for every tiny little infringement, or nobody would have a post count over about 1000. 
It really ruins the feel of the place very quickly if everything is censored, things like 'Eminem sucks' aren't particularly derogatory, and you're the person I'd be most surprised to see complaining about a little spam. It was actually fairly on-topic, regardless of whether the topic was actually asking for opinions or not. If somebody posted 'No, but I really like it' I'm sure you wouldn't delete that, yet it's exactly the same situation.
Just lighten up a little, 'kay?

I can agree that "Eminem sucks" is a little negative, it could have been followed up with an explanation to not seem so negative. However, comments like those are always made, same with spam. You spam alot in serious topics, Zolon. It isn't a big deal. People like to have fun and I don't remember when Cspace said people weren't allowed to have fun here. If all spam (Non-Insanity Board) was chopped, you would lose some of your post count, as would anybody (Spikeout ).
It isn't that big of a deal, and like Goto said, don't get so uptight about it. If you want to have a serious conversation, then mention it in the first post and kindly ask people not to spam. In that case, we could delete/hide the spam, but I'm sure that many of the members would refrain from spamming if they saw that.

Anyway, I generally tend to not spam in the serious topics (unkess it was a conflict and I was trying to lighten things up)
I'll agree that if they explained more, I might not have gotten annoyed. It wasn't the general opinion that got me mad, it was the fact that I didn't care, nor did I ask. I asked who picked up the CD, and how it compared to his last ones.. people decided to come in with opinions not relating to the topic..
