Some people say that abortion is okay no matter what because people would live an inconvenient life if they were forced to go through with having a child. Isn't that kind of like saying a robber would live an inconvenient life if he didn't rob and kill a rich guy?

There are plenty of methods for preventing pregnancy and avoiding the unison of sperm and egg cells. As Alpha Weapon stated a long time ago, once fertilization is complete, if the embryo/fetus were left alone it would develop into a living human being. Which makes it murder to abort, whereas other methods such as condoms prevent the fertilization and do not end something that would bring about life if left alone.

If a condom or whatever were to malfunction, I refer you to the story of that one Family Guy episode: the parents would gain enough money from the lawsuit against the condom company to be able to more than support the child.

Actually God has never been "ProLife" not in the X number of years in existance. He has had no problem telling Israel to whipe out a nother nation without a second thought, he killed his son, and animal sacrifice. NOw since none of you know me nor can this post represent my wide array of views that has been accumulated through more religious reading than needs to be done.

I may be against abortion but I am for choice. If you consider aborition killing a living thing you must first define what a living thing is... as I read the five pages of extremely large post I decided i will go with Brain activity since it is the most reasonabile and most common.

Since all of a humans bodily functions are controlled by the brain it has brasin waves all during when the brain is formed. The brain forms before the first trimester is over.

Im sure no one here hs been in the big city foster homes. They arnt pretty. My cousin was in one for 9 years and he tried to kill himself 37 times but unfortunatly he was caught everytime. Some of the kids are molested and everyting.

And more or less the mother doesnt exactly choose to kill the baby but to deny the baby passage from her wome into the world.

I dont believe abortion is right when it is possible for the baby to survive outside the mothers body though because then it is fully deveoped for the basic needs of life

I also believe it should be the mothers choice and is not murder until it is actually born and is not relying on its mother to be able to survive however i strongly feel that if the father of the child does not want to have the baby he should not legally have to pay for it until the baby is 18 this is extremely sexist. The government spent so much time thinking about woman's rights sometimes I think they forgot about men's.

That's a different debate.. But if the father made the child, he should help raise it. And what do you think they forgot about men's rights? Men has too many rights. The father has to pay child support also.

So, you're saying that something isn't alive until it can care for itself? Human babies are the most helpless of all types of babies.
